I just found a copy of 1st edition, plus a few expansions. I also recently bought and played the second edition with a friend. It was an epic battle! I was pleasantly surprised to see you with a video on it! And yes, the game is cool because you can apply your creativity with setting up your own maps etc. Thanks!
Sign me up for a gameplay session. I have a nice box of battlelore..that I never opened, bc no one played with me lol. I tend to do that - buying games, and I just never play them bc I cant find people to play them with. And I'm such a damn sucker for board games. And for anything with figurines / miniatures.
yo yo yo wasu, boardgames seem not to be appreciated as they should in my community. I'm glad you guys do and I love your videos, thanks, and keep up the good work
I was still able to pick up 2 copies of the game for less than 100 dollars, it really is amazing how affordable the game still is after being years out of print.
Very cool video. I have the entire collection of Battlelore 1st ed with all expansions. Have played 2nd ed but like this one so much more. The only problem is finding others to play with. I have played it others a couple times and was a blast!!. Also have played solo several times but its not a game you can play solo as thinking for both sides defeats the purpose of a wargame where you "anticipate" opponent moves. LOL. Highly recommended game. Way better than 2nd ed. IMO.
Where is this filmed, exactly? Back of the van, attic, other? Other than that, good vid. Thanks for sharing! note: Loved the Beavis and Butthead backdrop. Adds to the nostalgia.
You guys are halarious! Its too bad Battlelore didnt do better. Awesome game. I love Battlelore 1st ed. Dont have It all, but I do have a lot of it. Memoir 44, I have everthing pretty much. Subscribed.
I have not gotten the newer version of the game, but was a big fan of the classic edition and played it quite a bit growing up. It was horribly unbalanced and we rarely played games to completion, but as someone who grew up watching Red Dawn the scenario was a lot of fun to play. Wolverines! - Eric
Thanks for getting back to me on that. I just bought the classic version of axis and allies and fortress America game master series. I've never played any of them but always wanted to when I was a kid but my friends thought it was stupid. Lol. I'd love to learn how to play and talk with someone more about it! My email is stevenfros123@hotmail.com. Let me know if you'd be willing to give a noobie some pointers. Thanks again!
WTF? Is that Alf I see back there? Does Raquel Ochmonek live in your area? If so, put Alf away before posting on UA-cam for her to see (yeah, like she knows about the internet). And is Tig cool, or is he ...?

Visiting you guys is on my bucket list. I know we would get along just fine, and I would bring beer!

I would recommend the second edition, it's not streamlined and better
