    I actually use the SRM D50 with the Hifiman EF 400 as a stack! Sounds great on my electrostatic headphone and also my other planars that I use

    Thanks for the review. It's not that expensive...relatively speaking for a dac-amp-enegizer.
    But I bought my vintage SR5 gold and Srdx pro for just 250euro.

    If I was to not go the energizer route. What dac amp stack could theoretically power a stax without sounding lacking?

      It's an energizer for electrostatic headphones with a build-in dac.

    Srm-D50 with RME Adi-2 dac is much much better. Of course then dac in D50 is useless. :( Maybe I will try 353X with RME if it will be better.
