Nice driving. I track a ZR1 and have fun with it, but you can always tell the difference between us 'amateur track day guys' and the guys like you who get paid to go fast. I bet that white Scud isn't too used to getting passed at track days. He didn't seem like he wanted to let you past, but he didn't have a choice. Good job.
Nice driving, you can really see the power of the car from T13 to T14, and T6 to T9. Excellent grip as well from T3 to T6. I ran this side by side with one of my videos in a Lotus Elise (where I should have the advantage in from T3 to T6) and we're neck and neck. Well done.
Darius, I just stumbled across this video. I didn't know you had a Z06 prior to your Viper. Man, this video is living at red line for sure! The white Ferrari I assume went off when you passed and you were laughing? lol Great driving. We traded messages before on the Viper forum. I have since traded my Viper in and went back to a C7 Z06/Z07. Hoping to get in on track in the next few weeks & compare to my Viper times.
respect bro..track day with the girl..thats the life bro not to mention driving badass corvette .. i envy you dude lol in a good way one day ill work my way into a nice vette with my girl..good driving dude
Was great fun! Yes race seats are a must in future! An all stock Z06 beating the scud came down to skill. Makes me laugh the comment giving advice on how they would have done better lol. Awesome work Darius!
Super vid, great pass on the 430, way to wring the best out of the Z06. Your track days are a little looser with passing rules than I am used to, but sure makes for fun. And it was good you didn't have your Mum with you on that drive.
Nice driving, but you need to bring the steering closer to your body. You dont want your arms extended like that. Notice how you are fully extended in the corners when your hands are around 12 Oclock. The best rule to find the right distance for your arms is to have both arms fully extended while both wrists (not hands) are at 12 Oclock point in the steering. Then you bring your hands back on the steering at 10 and 2 Oclock. Keep up the good work :)
The white Ferrari really should have worked its way to the right side of the main straight, and you should of then passed him on the left, if you could get that done safely before turn 1. I'm not sure how fast the Ferrari was going, but with him offline (not all the way to the right) before turn 1, would either let him carry less speed thru that turn than normal, or maybe go off on the right side at the exit. I'm used to cars staying online, and for the passing car to go offline.
Hmm didn't look to me like he was right on his ass, judging by how long it took for the ferrari to show up on the front straight as he was pitting... I would say he definitely out drove the Ferrari driver, and those z06's are fast! And track events aren't races so there is no winning ;) You seem to be a little anti-Corvette..
Better car, not so much, maybe if ferrari had their crew come out to the track and spend a week tweaking the car to that specific track, then maybe. That's the only reason Ferrari has been able to get their cars to put down fast lap times.

Nice video and great driving!
You should put the new pilot sport cup tires on that! Probably get 5 sec faster lap times

Should've closed the window. I plugged my headphones in to hear the Z06 but instead heard a lot of buzzing and noise.
you either need bride or recaro bucket seats a.s.a.p..your gf is all over the place
