Hi Andrew, I have the Acerbis tank fitted which is 12/13L. I also had a 2.5L fuel container just in case but TBH didn't really need it. Another chap was on 250L on std tank and he filled up a few times using roadside bottles of fuel - but again, it depends how far from civilisation you want to stray! The bike was superb! A great choice IMO. Mine was geared down but std gearing would have been better for the long highway slogs. Make sure you have new chain, sprockets, wheel bearings, etc... I killed both sprockets and did a wheel bearing and getting replacements was not fun.
Nice ride! I’m planning Morocco on my 250l next year, how was the bike? How was the fuel situation given the limited range of the standard tank?
