I love the intricate aspects and thought that went into this project, and especially the storytelling approach, which is near and dear to my EU heart. I've watched and experienced PE/EU evolve over 16+ years, and sometimes we learn from challenges, but progress doesn't happen if you don't keep moving. Well done MindArk.

Agreed, I first started in 2008 and I've always wanted Entropia to take this approach.

OK general "non new content" lighting issues aside, this is the sort of behind the scenes talk with the artists/devs that I've been saying is needed for years and is probably the single most encouraging bit of communication that has come out of Mindark in the last decade and a half. It's genuinely a relief to see someone at the company finally caring about the details of the environment and the story again and I can't say how chuffed I am to see the Calumusoid back story finally being filled out (it was always one of my favourite elements). Maybe for the next video the content could focus on the older areas of the game and how those can be given the same sort of TLC. Back in the early days we had all these little things to find and see, like the battle remains of the previous war and so on. Would be great to see some sort of initiative to try and fill out the general wider areas of the game with this sort of thing again. Anyhow. Just a thought.
Now if only they would clean up the invisible collisions everywhere that has been in there for like 15 years haha

I am hoping for more quests players who play free can play. This game is expensive to play. It may be free to play but still costs money for everything else in the game.

Ferran... we need to talk about your responsibility for lighting... I can show you some "great" (not) "before and after" the general lighting update a year or so back.
As in the Before was pretty good, the after was not
Fast case in point, try using the Torch from Rocktropia. It used to be this nice firelike flickery orange glow. Last I checked it was like an overly harsh cold LED viewed from an over exposed camera view.
other lighting things that need looking at: most sources of light, specifically vehicle lights, en-blades, and Mindforce effects. Lots of old buildings are messed up too, very dark or crazy avatar over exposure. Sudden zoned lighting transitions going into/out of buildings. TBH you pretty much need to draw up a "hit list" of everything in game that emits light and work through them all testing in various locations, with and without avatars present and make sure everything doesn't look daft.
