Out of the store the 2016 Camaro SS is a pretty good choice. But if you want to turn things up a bit, the Alpha chassis takes to it like a dog to tennis balls. This 2016 Camaro SS is like a Franken-ZLE. Supercharger, a bit of suspension, some flashy touches, and a whole lot of noise. It's not often we revisit a car but when it's gained 110WHP, brakes, suspension, aero, and a set of Michelin PS4s, it seems worthy of another drive. Mod list below and more of it @maplefed.

True fans of this channel shouldn’t care wether it’s Zack or Matt, listen to the podcast and you can tell they’re pure hustlers that vibe well with each other. Both are skilled partly trained drivers and great presenters. Keep on Keeping on, I was a fan of this channel before y’all started the one takes and seeing it grow is amazing/ inspiring. 1 million subscribers is coming close!

The owner seemed pissed the whole time.
Matt has driven this car before (when it had different mods). Owner knew Zack would be driving it, and emailed him to let him drive it again at a runway event.
I felt the same way when I first test drove my 2SS. It had so much grip that it literally felt AWD. Amazing car.
Now this is a muscle car dayum.
Its a manual, why are there paddles on the steering wheel? She beautiful but its time for new suspension, they are wobbling in those seats. Very cool build!!!

The feel you were trying to describe is like the amount on turn on a doorknob vs how far the latch is opened, Like having to turn halfway to get a quarter open. Or worse it would feel like the know is detached. That’s how the steering will feel. Lol... broken steering.

I'm more into JDM cars than anything, but that fact that a lot of ppl say the 2jz & Rb26 are the best sounding motors I just can't agree, this sounds better imo.

That's why I personally got a fwd performance car, I can still have a little fun and be in the car scene if I want. I'm not tempted to mod it because it's fwd. My plan is still working after 7 years...

I can only imagine the tens of thousands more of these they would sell each year if it wasn't an ergonomic fucking nightmare.
The vast majority of people who buy this are buying it for the engine only. And as this buyer proves, almost everyone that buys a Gaymaro absolutely hates the shit out of it stock, and can't wait to blow another $15k-20k on mods to make up for the garbage it is off the lot.

Funny you mention that. Because I live in FL & I rented a car with butt coolers & swore my next car would have them if I had to install them myself. For that reason, I went with a ZL1 with the stock seats. It's truly one of life's simple pleasures.
We always look back and say we should've just upgraded, same with my scatpack 😓
The 1LE can have cooled seats - I just test drove one last weekend when it was 99 out. They were a godsend!

I have to disagree on the V10s. You're thinking Viper V10, those generally don't sound good. But a Lambo/Audi/Lexus LFA V10 sounds amazing.

That's where I agree with Zack. For me, the LFA is the best sounding car. But the V8 engines are the automotive equivalent of hard rock (NA) and metal (supercharged).
As much as the wind noise muddys up the audio that open window section was needed. Matt never does that

I had a slp 575 for two weeks on hire, and the Ediff was rubbish compared to a proper plate diff.

Thinking about adding a supercharger to mine. Not sure what one to go with. Love those wheels. Look like the MRR FS01? Put the PS4's on mine as well. Man do they grip. Sounds great! I only removed the rear cats, but it makes a huge difference. Have you looked into BMR suspension?
The 2010 to 2013 Camaro looked more aggressive visually but the 2016s have a nicer interior. I still prefer my Charger Hellcat as a bad ass yet comfortable daily. A must do Hellcat mod is wider and stickier tires on wider rims. Consistent hook and go.
What are the tire sizes again front and rear?
I have a 2017 2SS and getting ready to throw a pro-charger setup on it.
On steering feel - when I imported my Honda Beat it came with a really crappy aftermarket steering wheel, and it was so flimsy it was actually absorbing a lot of the steering feel. I didn't entirely realize this until I replaced it with a much better one, but the new one transformed the feel of the car and vastly increased my confidence.

same engine as the ZL1 to my knowledge...so as long as you aren't pushing much higher than stock ZL1 numbers, I don't see why not. Though I don't really get buying a SS and then supercharging, might as well just get the ZL1? Unless you found a great deal or a used one or something... A stock SS 1lE is already fast as hell...I can't see putting more power in mine. It's already jail territory.
