Hi there! Thank you for this as always amazing journey! :)) I have studied and learned nearly all there is about the ICE series in parts thanks to you! And looking at this video here begs me a question: What kind of system differences are there for you as a driver between the ICE 1 and ICE 2? Because their cabs seem to look exactly the same. I also noticed that the ICE 2 are not travelling on this line… How come? I would be curious to know :) 🎉
Hi Lena, to keep it short: ICE1 is the basic one, ICE2 has been constructed for Lines with less passanger arise, has just one locomotive and is able to connect with another ICE2 trainset. Both cockpits are similar with some little differences. Best regards 👋🏼
Thanks!
I wouldn't be surprised if this video is 20 years old. At that time, there were no designations of arrows, stations, sidings. As well as UA-cam, speedometers and road maps from the Web ...But the video is good.
Dear Aleksander, the Video is from this late winter/early spring. And speedometers we didn't use in any of our videos! Best regards.
Showing the speedometer would probably have some... well, not so nice consequences for the driver :P
@aleksandersmirnow2157 What are you talking about? The railway line isn't even a decade old yet, and I wanna see video from 2003 in that quality that wasn't made by a professional crew... :)
