Now that is a great shot, especially with how light those beans are! Any advice on settings to use for lighter roasts, e.g., temperature, pressure, dose, ratio, time, etc.?
Thank you so much!! 🙏🙏🙏 Honestly I am not the best one at this. Lelit mara X has 3 temperature settings: low (for dark coffee), medium and high ( for light roast), so I use it accordingly. I do 18g in and 36g out (1:2 ratio) in about 25-30seconds. I have modified the opv valve to 9 bars ( out of factory it was at 10 bars). AND VERY IMPORTANT: I try to use fresh coffee. In this video the beans where roasted 3 weeks prior. So in conclusion I don’t do anything special, I am traditional with my settings. Hope it helps ! And I am sure that there are lots of videos about this topic from people who know more than me. Good luck ! 🙏
