Even her pop-punk stuff from her first album was great. we know she can really nail ballads, she's got pop-punk down pretty well. I think she should pursue the genre because it fits her doing country. I think she'd be great at old country, not newer country. the way she paints a picture with her songs really fits with country, surprise surprise her idol is taydolf swiftler so she would be influenced by her early work. She was filming in Utah during her early teens so she would naturally be influenced by the sound and nature of being around that environment. Country bumpkin is a genre she should also explore if she can really get in and nail it. put the other youngsters who are trying to make country music today and put them in their place. I hope she continues to make bloody good music to keep us under her spell. she got her sophomore album nailed, so what comes next? Hopefully something that continues in her now familiar pop-punk and emo sound. she's intelligent enough to have managed to keep all of her rights as a song writer, she owns all of it which other artists weren't able to do, probably because of how the industry as a whole has had to adapt to artists rights. She's not just a singer, she's a writer after all. I can't wait to see her career continue to blossom. hopefully she'll slow down a bit and focus on making sure the quality remains at this level.
