- We’re thrilled to honor Reese Futch with a $1,000 Texoma Excellence in Fine Arts Scholarship for his outstanding achievements.
Reese is a talented actor and performer who has dedicated four years to Whitewright High School's theatre program, earning regional qualifications in Prose and Poetry Interpretation three times. Beyond the stage, he excelled on the yearbook staff and won Reserve Grand Champion in Photography at the Loy Lake Show.
In theatre, Reese has been a crucial member of the One Act Play team, earning All-Star Cast honors for two years and contributing to their advancement to higher rounds for three consecutive years. His dedication and leadership shine both as an actor and as a stage crew member, inspiring his peers to explore their own artistic potential.
Despite a challenging schedule that includes participating in football, track, and powerlifting, as well as taking advanced and dual-credit classes, Reese has shown extraordinary commitment to his craft. His ability to balance academics, athletics, and fine arts demonstrates an impressive work ethic and determination.
Reese inspires others as a student athlete and performer, captivating with his powerful voice and demonstrating perseverance by overcoming challenges to honor his commitments.
Reese plans to attend Texas Tech University to pursue acting and voice interpretation in their Fine Arts department. As a first-generation college student, this scholarship will support his journey toward achieving his dreams.
On behalf of Sherman Chevrolet and Texoma Chevy Dealers, we proudly present Reese Futch with the Texoma Excellence in Fine Arts scholarship, honoring his impact on the Whitewright community.
