Been using max for 20+ years and never noticed the start new shape option in the spline menu. Also, very helpful video, these globe plants assets look great
What are your thoughts on chaos scatter vs. Forest pack? It looks like chaos is catching up but forest pack is still a step above. Being able to “paint” in areas and grouping etc… But is it worth the cost?
I have used both and been using forest for a very long time. Still, there’s a lot of things that i feel I need from forest when I use scatter and it needs to have to be able to catch up with forest.
For now Forest is more advanced and have more options, but for simple scenes like this, there is no difference. In this case a prefer Chaos Scatter, as the scene can be open on the computer without FP installed.
Anybody else having issues with huge vram usage when using scatters though? Unfortunately all my gpus are only 8gb for now but still I camt really use scatter fully if I want the render to actually start, manually placing proxys the render starts fine, having scatter just even place a few instances kills the process?
wtf! who can explain me this bu/***t ? my teacher told to not shoot fly with a cannon? what???????? context girl context! it is not about doing things heavy or difficult. it more to create easily by having the correct tools. DAMN !

great ! but really often client gives you the landscape plan too, and every plant should have its right position on the maps!
