gotta say i really like how the wild cards are set up, especially this one!! the food gimmick is fun and all, but could get old quickly once people figure out whats good to eat- so having it be randomized every so often is really smart and keeps it interesting. plus, having everyone on hunger 3 definitely ramps it up. shoutout to grian for these, thinking them up and executing them mustve been a challenge- but its awesome :)) cant wait for next saturday!!
I thought the exact opposite of the randomization. It's sort of a shame that no advanced strategies got to play out during the session as things just kept changing. I was ready to see everyone minmax the mechanics and become super OP near the end.

Fall damage is turned off. Jumping will give a random other person on the server a random potion effect.

BUT the problem here is that by default, players could see the invisible players on the same Team. This could very well be an unintended outcome as a side effect of the commading, and it could cause some problem. It means that players can't use invisibility potion in this season, and it could very well mean that *Secret Life spoiler ahead* The scene like when martyn got invisible and climbed up Grian's tower might not be able to happen if the problem's not fixed. Wildcard Idea: May have already been done somewhere, but something as simple as every 5 minutes or so, every player swaps location and just teleports to where someone else was. Would make for some interesting scenarios in groups and alliances!
Wildcard suggestion: Players take upwards knockback instead of damage. The more hearts they would have lost by whatever hit them, the higher up they're launched. This also applies to fall damage, so if not careful the player will bounce up and down all over the place like the whole world is a giant trampoline

I think the idea behind this season is genius! Its a brilliant way to keep things fresh, because no-one is doing what they usually do in the early game. Normally, by now, people would have built a base, gathered resources, started farms, and gone mining. But people are too busy goofing off, having fun and/or panicking to have done that properly yet. And, as was mentioned in this session, people seem to have forgotten the premise of the series.Absolutely brilliant. Can't wait to see how this plays out as the lives decrease😊

Grian, you are absolutely diabolical, I love it! Idea for another session, ever minute (or longer if there's less players by that point), 2 people randomly get teleported to each other location. The randomizer should take into account that everyone must be teleported at least once before a player can be teleported again, this way everyone is affected at some point guarunteed but they just don't know when or with who they will swap places
i wondered at the delay, and sheer panic in your voice when i watched Mumbo's POV. thanks to the bonus clip it all makes sense now. Grian was caught slacking. ;) (probably typing the command to randomize the food again, LoL )
What if instead it was a blood moon, and terraria style, spawns even more mobs than normal Extra mobs that make it harder could be a part of it too, but I have no idea the extent of what grian does for these wildcards, so it doesn't have to happen
Considering the "Sub 1" and "Floaters" pattern, I think it's best to be called something like the "Variables" - the team whose name changes according to the wild card of each episode.

Wildcard suggestion: Players take upwards knockback instead of damage. The more hearts they would have lost by whatever hit them, the higher up they're launched.
This also applies to fall damage, so if not careful the player will bounce up and down all over the place like the whole world is a giant trampoline

I think the idea behind this season is genius! Its a brilliant way to keep things fresh, because no-one is doing what they usually do in the early game. Normally, by now, people would have built a base, gathered resources, started farms, and gone mining. But people are too busy goofing off, having fun and/or panicking to have done that properly yet. And, as was mentioned in this session, people seem to have forgotten the premise of the series.Absolutely brilliant. Can't wait to see how this plays out as the lives decrease😊

Idea for another session, ever minute (or longer if there's less players by that point), 2 people randomly get teleported to each other location. The randomizer should take into account that everyone must be teleported at least once before a player can be teleported again, this way everyone is affected at some point guarunteed but they just don't know when or with who they will swap places
i wondered at the delay, and sheer panic in your voice when i watched Mumbo's POV. thanks to the bonus clip it all makes sense now. Grian was caught slacking. ;) (probably typing the command to randomize the food again, LoL )

What if instead it was a blood moon, and terraria style, spawns even more mobs than normal
Extra mobs that make it harder could be a part of it too, but I have no idea the extent of what grian does for these wildcards, so it doesn't have to happen
Considering the "Sub 1" and "Floaters" pattern, I think it's best to be called something like the "Variables" - the team whose name changes according to the wild card of each episode.
