I have mild Varus () deformity. Xrays showed recommended total knee replacment.
But this product of Tynor OA knee support is a wonder product.
Pain due to bone on bone is not felt at all. Fantastic product I will choose to recommend for Bow leg persons. It is a thoughtful invention.

Today I ordered another set of the same OA hinged knee brace. I would prefer the hinges on both sides with the X band. This works more effective for pain management and correcting Bow leg.

It's really too confusing where to keep Hinges, because in previous query, they mentioned for virus knee hinge should come outside. So accordingly, here for Valgus knees hinges should come inside. But company is telling it should be outer side of knee.!!

Yesterday I bought this product through Amazon.
I have mild Varus. The hinged splint was inner thigh side. It was not comfortable whole of yesterday.
Today I changed the hinged splinter to outside for my Varus knees, it gives very much comfort and no pain at all due ti bone on bone.
I feel your reply to where to place the hinged splinter needs a correction. ( it shall be placed outside for Varus deformity, that is, on the outer thigh side to push the bend). Please acknowledge.

Apology for the reply. You are right. Varus deformity the splint has to be outside that will push the knee joint inside.

Hello Sir, I'm Lina from Msia. I'd been using this brace for 5 months starting Sept 2022 until now Feb 2023. I was diagnosed with Varus Deformity [Bowleg] [O Leg], Doc asked me to use HINGED the Black Plastic inside the knee. I'm noticed that my leg has become more O & I got pain at my back. Beginning, I spoke with somebody in Tynor Msia who said that HINGE should be outside of the knee. I argue with the doc but I have to follow his order.
Now, 5 months later, my leg is still not improved.. PLEASE CORRECT ME WHERE SHOULD THE HINGE PLACE AT? Inner or outside the knee.. Please somebody assist me. My leg still hurts.

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. In case of Varus Deformity, the hinge should be placed on the inside and in case of Valgus Deformity the hinge should be placed on the outside.
