- Final Episode of My O Gauge Layout Renovation. After 5-6 months of work, we have come to the end of the project. A few last details and then we will review all the things that changed over the course of the renovation.
Nice job finishing off the track side area, Sean. By adding some new visual interest and ambient elements, you've been able to actually expand the layout without adding surface area. Quite a master move! Thanks for this very interesting update.
I have been watching all of the layout changes, and they are amazing, The amusement park looks fabulous.
Fell way behind on my UA-cam watching, so I am just now getting to this. Fantastic job. Love all the improvements and additions. The amusement park is next-level.
HAHA, yeah, we could spend our lives trying to watch all the content out there, lol.
Wonderful idea with the road in the tunnel. Looks great! 👍
Wow Sean great job on everything! You really know how to pull scenes together and make everything look seamless.
Fantastic series and a spectacular upgrade to your layout. Now it is time to run some trains!
That 3D picture made the tunnel look awesome wow like it
The tunnel looks really neat. Love it!
Sean, just a suggestion regarding the yellow lines in the new tunnel: you could paint over the existing lines black, then restripe with your striping tape. Magnificent Amusement Park with everything that you would find at a park like that. Turns your layout into a people friendly layout from a kind of industrial park.
Thanks for taking us through your thought process and elegant execution. Congrats on "finishing" but I'm a bit sad its over as I looked forward to the videos.
I have really enjoyed watching this process. Congrats on this!
Would honestly love to see a POV vid of a train running through all the changes. Fantastic Work!!
Great Idea! I will do that!
@@seanstraindepot Awesome. Looking forward to it.
That was fun to watch. Probably the tunnel trick tickled my fancy the most but it was all great.
Awesome👏 One thing that I enjoy is the layout is alive. You really took it to another level. And fixing problems!👏
A wonderful renovation- Carnival scenes bring such a wonderful element to model railroading. Love the long format and are looking forward to an operations video showcasing it all.
Sean ,
What a fantastic transformation of the space. Love the amusement park and all of the areas. Great job.
Perfect Sean!
Everything turned out wonderful Sean.
Looking forward to your future videos.
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wishing you a blessed New Year!
Congratulations on your renovation! I’m so excited for more of your trains to be reviewed!
Cool way to extend the roadway.
Great videos and love your 3d detail in yor tunel
Cool stuff 😎
Sean, another awesome video. I can't wait to see what you do next. Happy New Year.
On my signal light tower I had to put the drive washer or finger washer on the part that turns so the finger washer is upside down then it worked.
Like the way it all turned out for you would like to know we’re you got the the timer boards and sound boards for your layout I think theses are a great idea

@@seanstraindepot thank you. I’ve been trying to figure out how to add some of these sound, this is great!
verry cool
Hey Sean,
I want to thank you for sharing your techniques and the way you do your scenery, roads, and track. I have used those techniques on my layout. I am getting ready to push out a layout overview and am wondering if you want credit for the techniques? Thanks and see ya...
Thanks Ashton! Can't wait to see your video! HAHA, I'm not one of those guys that needs credit for anything, totally up to you. Happy New Year!
@@seanstraindepot Ok! I was just making sure so I don't get into trouble. Lol
Where do you get that grass mat never seen anybody else use that or show us that they do very good idea thanx
Woodland Scenic's makes great Vinyl back mats that don't tear up or fall apart. Stay away from paper ones.
Dear Sean, Love your layout and expertise... I am building from scratch my layout in a 30 by 30 foot room... love to talk with you by phone about your experiences... how might we contact one another... Thank you, Alan
Sean…..can you provide a link or some info on the timer boards? Thanks

Sean.. what about painting the lines on the photo image black and then re stripe the image to better match your real road .. just a thought
Good idea. It's such a small thing that not many people will see. Maybe when I have more free time!
@@seanstraindepot I'm replying from the computer.. I've been watching for months on my TV and I cannot reply. Only on the computer and now an app on my phone.. That said, I've been watching your channel for months... Not only is it one of the most outstanding layouts.. I really like the new track plan and making it a U shape overall. The amusement park addition make it a premier for not only "O" hobbyist , but Model RR annual. It really should get more coverage than just You Tube.
The oak wood work that you've done is outstanding! I could go on.. but, no doubt you've heard it before. Hats off Sean.. really really great stuff. Wishing you a prosperous 2024.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed i
Do you have 2 have the voltage regulator? Where did you get the sound board and speaker?
Not if you use the correct DC 12 volts into the board.
How much are those sound boards? Any 1 better than another 1 brand wise?
They are made by ITT Products and about 39.00 a board (plus other parts), preprogrammed. Their site lets you play them and see what they sound like. I think he also will program custom sounds if you send them to him.
Great layout! Would it be possible to get a copy of your SCARM file? I would definitely pay for it if you like.
Thanks
I never used a program to design the track plan, sorry.
Were did you get the sound cards.

I've used them before Thanks my friend
What if you use a mirror
That would work, just too much work for an area not seen a lot, cutting glass and buying mirror glass when all I had to use was paper.
