I use to camp in the park as a kid and ski it was just 3 bucks for adults to ski and hardly anyone went into the interior in the sixties before backpacks you could buy land for 10 bucks a acre along lake superoir now it's that much a foot I once was lost in 10 degree weather I took a shortcut without a moon it was scary

I hiked there a few weeks ago (mid-September) and it is absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait to go back.

We're doing OK here in Upper Peninsula of Michigan right now with COVID cases. We watch in horror as the rest of the country spikes and wonder how long before it makes its way here.
But just in case you were planning on vacationing or boating on our rivers and lakes and lands this summer, I do want to warn you that red ants and bedbugs have infested hotels/motels and all of the resorts and campgrounds across the area due to a wetter than usual spring. Mountain lions have eaten domesticated animals and some smaller people. The poison ivy has overtaken all other vegetation. We have had bear sightings at every park and in town.
Porcupines are "stabbing" small children should they dare to enter the forest. Skunks have made their way over and multiplied at unprecedented rates and wander the local roads in packs. Murder hornets!?! We’ve got SHITLOADS of murder hornets. And I’m pretty sure all private tiger owners have released them into the marshes and islands of our territory. Head lice now have wings and fly... right beside giant bats.
So stay where you are, in your own province, state or county where it's safe!
Seriously, PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE... ✋🏼 🤗 UP is CLOSED!

😂😂😂 Hillarious! Too late...we're here! And I promise, we didn't bring the cold up here. We're heath nuts! But so glad we came! After skiing up here growing up I forgot that there were mountains in our state to the north. The waterfalls especially were a real treat! Signed, Cheeseheads.

Pretty sure there are marauding grizzlies and vicious wolf packs that fear no one there too. Worst of all are the ticks. They are known to burrow into every body orifice by the hundreds. For sure stay away!

Take that jacket off your waist… please. Oh and also give that mustache back to Mario Bros.
