Hey everyone welcome back to another video. Today I am super excited were taking a look at one of the most luxury class C's on the market today. This is the 2021 Entegra Coach Esteem 27U. Whats so great about this floorplan is that it is TRULEY Under 30ft. It measures at 29ft 11in. Also whats so great about the Esteems is the quality of them. I love the slam latch doors, I love the 2 A/C Units and the big shower is incredible.

We own the 2020 Esteem 27U and LOVE it!
Likes:
1. Three wardrobes. The one to the left of the bathroom is critical as it’s the only one accessible with the slides in.
2. The sofa has a little ledge on the back that is SO helpful to store a tissue box, remotes, etc. We use it so much.
3. The wet bay is great! Nice height for the outside shower and everything is right in there.
Dislikes:
1. The option for this larger refrigerator eliminates the pantry. We have the smaller frig and LOVE the pantry next to it! Makes all the difference in this kitchen.
2. The 2020 has sides to the valances that are important for privacy (except small bedroom windows). I notice they were eliminated for 2021. Not good - especially for the bathroom!
3. Wish the microwave was a combo microwave/convection oven.
Something must have changed in the bathroom since you gave 4P to the 2020 model.
The big draw for us in choosing the 27U was King bed, two AC, dinette AND sofa, big shower with glass door, nice door to bedroom (not accordion), and all this still under 30 feet. Happy campers!
Hi Matt. Hi Andrea, we missed you too!
Likes:
Outside appearance
2 A/C units
Wet bay
King size bed
Bathroom
Dislikes:
TV placement
Cushion is awkward
Not enough counter space with “L” layout
I’d gladly get a smaller fridge to allow pantry space
Matt has the best reviews, real professional, everyone else’s videos on UA-cam is boring and the camera work is terrible, plus they tell the price, you guys are great, keep them videos coming!
Thank you so much Phil :)
I really like this coach.
Likes:
1. Fiberglass roof
2. Tow capacity
3. Price
*4. Overall layout & double fridge
Dislikes:
1. Both TV locations and sizes
2. Fold up bed during travel
3. Non-continuous paint over exterior covers
Love the stove and especially the oven!! Amazing to fit a king bed in a small RV! The shower looks so big and comfortable. Love all the new technology too. I wish the cabinets were light to keep the inside of the RV happy and brighter. I would like drawers under the benches in the kitchen. I prefer the Euro style because they are easier to keep clean. Forgot another thing I love: two air conditioners. Good for Florida!!! Best of all Matt no Andre!!!
• Love the open interior
• Cabinet space is awesome
• Sorry Andrea, But I love the wood covered refrigerator
Three things I like about that RV, number one hands-down, Matt and Andrea hanging out in it, you two ROCK!!!!!! Love the interior, love the couch and dinette. Wish that some of the smaller type C would put in washer and dryer combo. Thanks for all the hard work, all the videos guys, we love them
Good to see Andrea's back!!! 😙🤗😍
Even though I sometimes comment, I seldom read all the other comments. Even though you mentioned it once before, I was still surprised to hear you refer to having trolls. As likable as both you and Andrea are, and as laid back as you both are, why would anybody troll you? I guess some people are just so miserable in their own lives that they try to share that misery with others. But don't let it bother you. It can't be anything about you. It is all about them and their unhappiness.
Well said Sir.
Unfortunately I have to disagree. And no I'm not unhappy with my life or miserable. This is only my 3rd or 4th time watching their videos and really can't stand his "trying to be cutesy" antics and noises among other things. But that doesn't mean I post it everywhere and I can see why someone would.
Trolls are insecure children with too much free time on their hands.
@@im2cutesosueme121 Completely agree with you. Ad hominem is the oldest and easiest logical fallacy in the book. Disagreeing does not diminish you in any way.
Im2CuteSoSueMe then don’t watch it. Find another tour guide, don’t complain about it, to those of us that enjoy it....good luck though, I’ve seen them all and These are the best!
You guys are so funny & honest. Love the videos
Great job Matt and Andrea. Love you both
Thank you for closing the privacy curtain! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
1. LOVE the plain wall behind the driver. You can be a UA-camr and put up a logo behind you, or make Art and hang it in your own home. 💗
2. Love that L shape kitchen that can be accessed if the slide is closed. Thank you for a flip up counter extension! 👏🏼
3. A giant 3way fridge!
4. An OVEN!!!!! I can totally full time in this one! 💗💗💗
Love the swivel seats, the windshield above the cab and love the back splash
Great video as always! I love almost everything… for the price I’d prefer a similar size 12v compressor fridge and PSA to every RV manufacturer… dinette storage needs to be full-width pull out drawers (if you’re too cheap and lazy then bare minimum of a hinged lid)! There’s no excuse for that flap of plywood!
Thanks Matt and Andrea I really enjoy watching you guys with my morning coffee.
Likes: interior design (colors and such), swiveling captain chair, and the oversized bunk over the cab.
Dislikes: I would get rid of the dinette and go with a sofa with removable table, TV placement (that is most class Cs though), the toilet position ( gotta have the 4 Ps).
We just love watching Matt skip. You Rock.!! Love the window in the bunk.
Great to see Andrea we missed you. Super Job!
Great review! Scaled that Roof Top Ladder, like a Spider Monkey!!!
Love the king bed, huge shower and swivel front seats. Wish it had an on demand water heater. Better shades like Duettes, and passenger seat laptop pull out desk.
I agree about the pantry, unusable bed with the slide in, and the storage under the dinette seat. I love the big engine, auto leveling, and plenty of outside storage & cabinets. Oh, I also like the outside shower. That would be perfect for a cooling shower during summer.
I love you guys ! What a team !
Matt this is what we bought but the greyhawk version! It’s awesome to see the differences between ours and this model. You really hit the nail on the head with the seats!! Omg, yes we hate the hassle and wear on the cushions to get to the storage. We are planning on putting our own hinges on it. Also the Velcro doesn’t hold them in place well. So wha wha. It is what it is. Gotta put more Velcro strips down. There is an option to have the smaller fridge and gain the pantry and that’s what we did. But man, if they even stole some room from the drawers and closet and placed the pantry.. it would have been our choice for sure! We love our motor home. But watching you and Andy, talk about it, just solidified our choice! Thanks Matt, great review.
Just watched the older video. The Stewart’s RV. Toilet passed. Maybe this one is more angled. Comparing both videos You and Andrea are getting better and better making them! Great job!!!
I’m always amazed by the height you get on the jump! 👏 I always look forward to see Andrea’s outfit. 🙂 I don’t see the need for outside 📺, I’d prefer more storage. Love that it’s prepped for solar. I don’t know what the wet bay is for but I liked the way it looked 👍🏻 I love the upper windshield, viewing window. I like the jack knife sofa, easy peasy. Love the kitchen and so much more!!
We enjoyed your review! This is so close to our wish list. Layout is good, awesome review. Not to thrilled about toilet 🚽 angle however king size bed for the size was very nice use of space! Thank you Matt and Andrea! Elizabeth and Richard
Love you guys! Great reviews. I always wonder why the counter extension is never the width of the counter. Ilove this rig and would consider buying this one. I'm surprised that they still like the dark wood . I agree with Andrea about the pantry space. I would definitely have solar installed.
Also to have privacy from the cab windshield, the coach comes with a privacy cloth barrier that uses those little circle velcro fasteners under the bunk. Great job Andrea and Matt!!
Thanks so much Bill:)
Great review, liked the kitchen, big frig, large head room for the bunk over the drive area. The huge window up there. Needs an outdoor kitchen because it is small inside. Ditch the dinette and put the couch in front of the tv....like the big shower. I really enjoy Matt and Andrea😉
We have a fifth wheel and as we are getting older we are talking about making a switch to a Class C so we can visit the National Parks. It looks like Entegra is nicer than all the rest..
Thank you both. Great presentation 🙏🙏🙏
Lots of good things packed into this class C!
My 3's:
Dislikes:
1. TV placement in the bunk. Yeah, THAT will be comfortable to watch from the couch (NOT).
2. Lack of storage in bathroom.
3. No w/d.
Likes:
1. Fridge is great size.
2. Love the king bed and bedroom storage.
3. I like the partial body paint job.
Thanks.
Great job Matt 🤗
Yet another great review
Missed the TV for the living room
Table storage lacks imagination
Nice unit lots to like
Love you guys! great reviews!
Thank you ☺️ 👍
Guys this is a beautiful rig. Perfect size and it has everything we need in an RV. Great review guys and early congratulations for 85k. Stay safe you two. Andrea, how are your girls? Cheers!!!
Thanks so much! The girls are doing good :)
We love you guys!! Still deciding what we want!
1. I like it has two air conditioners
2. I also like the one piece fiberglass roof
3. Another like is the front windshield
-------
1. I don't like the limited outside storage
2. I don't like the TV placement
3. I don't like not being able to use the bed with the slide in
It is a nice looking unit, Matt and I appreciate all your videos , I found a nice unit back in August :) I purchased a 2017 Thor Four Winds 28Z ;) My likes and dislikes can be flip flopped, what I like about that Esteem my unit is missing and what I don't like about the Esteem my Thor 28Z fulfills! Thanks you guys for all your help, your videos sure help me choose that kind of RV to full time in, and I sure do love mine.
good to see andreal. I like the rv not a fan of pull-outs. I like it when you said can park it a natilional park. I am going to the park this summer. Thanks
It missing a larger storage bay on the outside of the RV. I love watching the videos. Great work guysI
Approaching 100K early congratulations that's well deserved accolade 👍👍👍
When are RV manufacturers going to start engineering roof seals that isn't a bunch of goop that's slopped around A/C's, vents, and other roof access points? Seals that don't need to be re-gooped several times a year.
Welcome back Andrea! I would like more exterior storage.
Have this in the Jayco 27U. Bathroom works well for little smaller people. We have bit smaller frig and has small pantry that is very useful. Agree the dinette seats need a drawer or hinges. We just store stuff we rarely use there. MH drives nice and has been a pleasure. Love the king bed - once get right bedding really not that hard to fold down and make bed. Have added Maxair fan in bath and USB outlets over the bed - should have been there to start. Overhead TV ok. Don’t use it much but occasional viewing is fine. Overall very pleased with this coach.
My ideal. Our kids are middle aged and we don't have grandchildren. Great for 2 on long vacations. No dislikes for me.
For those of us with mobility issues the location of the black and grey dump station can be a real deal breaker.
Hello all.
Our likes:
* Love the weight limit on the bunk over the cab. We’re certain it must feel very sturdy when laying on it.
* Although many people don’t like having an oven, we love that this unit has one. We would require having an oven.
* The window in the bunk area is very nice.
Our dislikes:
* We know it’s not yet common on motor homes, but why can’t there be a keypad for keyless entry? That would be a huge convenience.
* If there aren’t any curtains or blinds to block off the cockpit windows, there should be. No one likes peeping toms when parked/camping.
* We’re huge fans of having a cutting board as a sink cover. We use a lot of fresh veggies.
* It’s not yet routine to have a washer/dryer hookup in class C units, but can one be optional beside the fridge where the wardrobe currently is? Even for a combo unit? That would be a HUGE plus. Even having a queen bed instead of a king would free up a little bit of valuable space...maybe enough for a pantry?
Yeahhhhhh...good job Matt crew😇
😊
Pantry is a must, dark wood is so 2019, spacious floor plan is nice, thanks for the review!
This one comes in a different interior color option...Matt & Andrea have reviewed that interior earlier (I believe it's called farmhouse) on another Entegra floorplan review.
This model *does* have a decent pull-out pantry, but it goes bye-bye when it is optioned with the 12 cu ft reefer, which this one was. Get the default 8 cu ft and you get the pantry.
WOW this is an amazing RV ! We love the layout ! I always wonder why they make the extra counter shelf smaller than the actual width of the counter 🤔 If it’s to clear the electric plug, could it be place elsewhere? And for the toilet problem... maybe just make the adjacent closet and drawers a bit smaller (5-6 inches would do the trick and it would clear the toilet from the bathroom sink). Would also add 1 or 2 more shelves in the bathroom wall cabinet. For the closet and drawers between the fridge and the bathroom, I agree with Andrea, a pantry is missing in the kitchen... maybe there could be adjustable shelving in the closet near the fridge so it can be used as a pantry for those who think they have enough storage space in the bedroom? LOVE LOVE LOVE the double door fridge, please keep 😍. Really like this RV... we are planning on buying one maybe in 5-6 years from now and this one is definitely a contenter. Thanks for another great and honest review ! 💓👌
So excited!!!
just what we are looking for!! Great class c ! Love it
Awesome floor plan
I agree about the storage
I agree. Take the mirror down in cabinet between fridge and bathroom and make more pantry or clothing storage. If you are buying this for state and national parks, you might have kids and need to store their things too.
You guys are awesome! I was saying that the Freelander from Coachman was my favorite, but you have sold me on the quality built Entegra Class C’s. Hopefully by the time we are ready to purchase, there will be improved layout for the Esteem 27u. Thank you for all your hard work!
Meant to say improved bathroom layout…
I like the size of the RV and the comfort, including both couch and dinette. I agree with Andrea that the kitchen cabinet space is too tight, but I liked that oven. All in all, a nice RV.
Only, thing I dislike is the tv placement and the dinette cushions, you are so correct we had the same and we hatted that you had to get the kids off the chairs to put blankets away !!! Great design and nice lighting!!!!!
I like the king bed and the storage and the swivel seats.
Need a pantry as Andrea said, as big as the bathroom looked it still looked cramp. Love the frig and counter space in the kitchen.
Very nice bathroom. Nice cabinetry. Don't care for folding bed. Great review!
Hello, good to see you Andrea! I love the king bed, countertops, storage, but needs a pantry. Shower is a great size. I don't like the wood front on the fridge. Great review Matt and Andrea!!👍👍❤❤
This layout normally has a pantry but they optioned it with a larger frig which eliminates the pantry to fit the frig.
@@xToddmcx I would rather have a smaller fridge and pantry. ✌
@@xToddmcx good to know
3 things I dislike are toilet, fold up bed and couch(prefer recliners),3 likes are bunk window, outdoor tv, and shower. We enjoy your reviews even if we are not looking for a new unit.
Love this motorhome!
Just the right size
Prepped for solar
Overhead bunk
Auto leveling
Huge fridge
Microwave AND oven
Excellent bathroom
Maybe a dislike
The tv placement in the overhead bunk
Andrea is right, lack of a pantry
You done did it again another good video. 3 likes: 2 way fridge, bath size and 2 A/C's. 3 dislikes: no outside kitchen, the front window on the cap and no Azdel.
When, oh please, when, will the manufacturers stop putting the TV in the bunk over cab. And what makes this RV "high end?"
Totally agree, a lot are doing a pop up one opposite of the dinette area.
We enjoyed your review! This is so close to our wish list. Layout is good, awesome review. Not to thrilled about toilet 🚽 angle however king size bed for the size was very nice use of space! Thank you Matt and Andrea! Elizabeth and Richard.
Completely agree. You have to turn your head. How uncomfortable. I guess if you want to watch outside of the bedroom you have to use the bunk!
Compared to all other Class C's on the market (not Super C's), the Entegra Esteem is definitely considered "high end". While it didn't have full-body paint, it comes standard with partial on the Esteem. Fit and finish is much nicer (slam latch doors, enclosed wetbay, flat floor living space, 2 A/C units, one-piece front cap with windshield, wooden sliding door in the bedroom instead of accordion door). There isn't a nicer production Class C even though I am not a fan of this particular floorplan...the Esteem really hasn't been matched (it's nicer than it's sister product in Jayco Greyhawk).
@@richardlunsford8870 Your post ended up as a reply to another post. You should move it in the main comment thread. 😊
I’m loving that one
Thank you so much. I for one asked about the bunk curtain.
No problem 😉
I agree totally with your + / - features.
Hi Matt 👋 and Andrea that Entegra Esteem model 27U is nice 👌 👍 seems 😀 seeing it before? the only reason what's the problem? 👎 w/d. And the layout is too much for the two of us,") Good to see you guys! Always doing a great 👍 job 👏 👍 👌 love you guys!
The 27U reviewed came with the optional 12cuft fridge. It can be optioned with a smaller fridge and a pantry.
Nice size !! Great review !!
Love the bunk over the cab with a big window
Love that you can get to the bathroom with slide in
Love the counter extension for the kitchen
and the oven
Love the bathroom!!
Dislike the folding bed
Dislike the Toilet being too tight , counter is too wide
I agree , I dislike the bench storage , hinges would be better
Thanks for another great review !
I have the odyssey. It has drawers under dinette seat. My toilette is roomier. Love the shower. Love the rotating seats.
I have watched many of your videos and you make it fun to watch. One thing I have noticed about most RVs is they have slides now. Slides make me nervous because what if it breaks and won't close while traveling? You wouldn't be able to drive down the road to a repair shop with it open? What do people do if this happens? Also the slides are they potential leak problem with seals wearing out? I do love the shower and sink in the bathroom. I like the swivel seat passenger seat. I like the lighting. I like the refrigerator but it seems big for a couple. I think this RV would be for a family.
Watching your videos has become a nightly ritual , thanks I really enjoy them
. I love the wet bay on this, it's a shame they didn't do better with the black tank accessibility. That looks hard to reach.
You guys are great!
Thanks Jeff 😊
I love this unit. I have a 1987- 27ft Sterling on a Ford 450.
So, on the countertop extension, we are curious as to why they can’t make the extension come up level with the countertop and the full size of it front to back? That little square is something, but it could be so much better.
Thanks Matt and Andrea!
Because of arthritis need to have bed access while going down highway. This home is nice and cozy like it very much
I love this floor plan. I am for the pantry and smaller fridge.
Love all the space for the bunk. Love 2 way fridge. Like the shower. Don't like sink in bathroom, fold up bed, and NO PANTRY!?
Love the floor plan! Love the swivel, but what that cushion? Thanks for showing how the above drivers seat curtain closes...never saw it before. I love it!
This is Perfection
I think the folding bed would get on my nerves. The bigger fridge means you lose the pantry.
I love that the hookups are enclosed. It would be perfect if the sewer hookups were covered too. I like the slam latch doors.
Great videos as usual!
I also would like an easier under table storage access, do not like no storage under flip up bed, not enough kitchen storage, I love level jacks, length is great. Great Job!
I love Matt and Andrea. I love the Esteem, but you really need to put long drawers under the dinette, and make the middle closet net to the kitchen a pantry with the door opening I to the kitchen.I love the king bed the large shower and the glass door for the shower.
I love your reviews! We have to watch a couple every night! I don’t like the refrigerator freezer doors, and where do you put the garbage can? And Andrea I don’t like the back splash. Our Thor Compass has the drawer in the dinette. It works very well. Who wants to pull up the seat. I also think the TV in the bunk is a waste of time.
This is a lovely RV.
Would a 3 fold sofa fit? TV placement hard to see. Love the king bed.
Late to the party on this video, but I think I have narrowed my RV search to this model or the Odyssey 26M, which my wife prefers because it is smaller. My likes are slam latch doors, wet bay and king bed. Dislikes is TV placement. I think Entregra packs a lot of good options in the esteem line.
I'd gladly give up a wardrobe closet, for a washer AND dryer
needs a tray for storage under the dinette benches washer dryer is a absolute must!
Stackable for sure.
Totally agree!!!!!
Even a combo unit would be acceptable in a rig this size.
No way...you hardly get any storage in a Class C and you would only need to do laundry if you were full-timing it or going for really long trips. Go to a laundromat at the campground or in town. Not only will you do more laundry quicker, but you will have so much more storage for more clothes/linens to stay out camping longer.
I think this is a nice floorplan for this king of motorhome.
Wow, entegra seems to be my favorite brand. Maybe i will buy it after 10 years, hehe
a BEAUTIFUL unit! Love the overhead bunk space, refrig size and sofa/interior color design. Not so fond of folding king bed, toilet position, no/little pantry space
I'm in full agreement with your pluses and minuses but for me, I'd want theatre seating because we would use this as a couples coach. Then sometimes bring a grandkid or two along with us. King bed is really nice since it is short and we are tall. ;o) Nice job Entegra.
Need a washer and dryer. Stackable. They are smart enough to figure this out. No fold up bed. As a couple dont need all that storage in bedroom.
3 I don’t like: no pantry, storage under dinette, entry door at edge of awning
3 I love: king size bed, convection microwave, great size shower
I wish they could add a CPAP station in the cabinet over the king bed
Andrea I'm surprised you don't like the wood paneling on the refrigerator - that's an upgrade and looks beautiful to me! :o)
Huge fan of Entegra motorhomes.
Not a fan of this particular floorplan for our family's needs, but there are a lot of unique goodies.
Likes:
- King size bed in a Class C
- No unnecessary step in the cabin like in most competitors put in
- Full cap over the front (not a bra like most of their competitors)
- Fit & Finishes
- Manual gear change option (look for the +/- when Matt is at the steering wheel on the right stick)
- Slam latch doors
- Enclosed Wet bay (almost all Class C's don't have this)
- Front step & fenders in the front cab (it only comes on the Esteem...not Odyssey)
- 2 A/C units on this small Class C
- King Aire and Wineguard on the rig standard
Dislikes:
- Didn't extend the stickers over the water heater & refrigerator cover on the outside
- Very little storage
- TV in the bunk over the cab on this floorplan...should have been over the dinette
- TV placement in master (I would definitely hit that every time I went to that closet along the back wall)
- Master bedroom slide has to come out to access closet...makes it more of a pain when you are prepping to leave & when you come home
- Window as your headboard? I know you have to do it for an exit window, but that stinks
- No MaxxAir covers on an Esteem?
thanks
The 3 things I like about this motorhome:
1. creature comforts: dinette, sofa, king size bed, residential size fridge, 2 A/C units, solid surface countertops, 30x36 shower, all being under 30'
2. enclosed wet bay
3. slam latches on the baggage doors
The 3 things I don't like about this motorhome:
1. combo: no pantry and no place for a trashcan: I'm thinking cut the wardrobe between the fridge and bathroom in half, make the left side pantry and get rid of the right side and extend the bathroom, toilet is still not a prime pooping position
2. TV placement: I would the TV above the dinette with two tall windows on either side
3. not prepped for washer/dryer
