For those wondering, after a SHIT ton of looking part numbers for the retaining plates are 8P0821471, 8P0821469 and 8P0821467. They are about £30 each x 3 x 2 sides (£180). Just buy a scrap pair of wings and take it off that it’ll be a lot cheaper

Hey what do you use to for the retaining plates screws or what ?
Do we have to remove the headlight for this? I dont see why it would need to come out, or ever loosen it?
Cause the guide of the headlight fits into the fender (at least on the facelift model)
Can you do this for the 8V pre facelift ?
Unfortunately, I don't have the necessary video material for such a tutorial at the moment. I'm hoping to get one myself soon so I can do that
