Hey Jerry... I love watching your videos. Your way of explaining what you´re doing is great and entertaining. Thanks a lot for all your time and effort making the countless videos and for letting me be a "guest" in your workshop!!! I wish you all the best in private and in instrument building... wonderful stuff... Greetings from Saxony in Germany!!!
amazing how two hands ,wood and a great mind can create something like this, beautiful jerry greetings from holland the land of windmills and wooden shoes :P
The pride on your face every time you strum it is so heartwarming! Even after 40 years, your face looks as thought it was the first time! Love your work as usual and thanks for the great videos.
A thing of exquisite beauty. Jerry, you are a true craftsman. I wish, 1, I could afford for you to build me a guitar and 2, I was in the United States so this was more of a reality! Thank you for your videos and the joy and company they bring.
Full marks for dedication, application and...sanding! Jerry, that is a beautiful and a beautiful sounding instrument. Now to see what Don Bishop thinks of it!
Forget all the things I thought I would do differently... Rosa is ONE sweet lady. Raising my brandy bottle in humble salute!! I have all your issues and came to builds FAR to late even though I'm a kitty whisker younger than you (I think). Want to swear (respectfully) at you (you SOB) for being so talented. My deepest respects, Maestro!!!
What an awesome job, Jerry, she's not only beautiful, she's got a grand voice. You're a wonderful craftsman, and it's truly a pleasure watching you apply your trade on these videos.
Another masterpiece from RSW. I love watching Jerry build guitars; it’s amazing how he takes wood that I could easily buy myself, and then transform that wood into art (that part I cannot do!). Building people’s dreams...one fretboard at a time. Congratulations and thank you.
I had the cc function on my phone while I was watching you tune this guitar. Words appeared as the strings got to pitch. Like it was singing di re mi. Beautiful and magical thing you have made. I hope you know that and your heart is full of joy.
Amazing job Jerry, the guitar sounds superb it has a very balanced tone not to much bass or treble a lovely even balance between the two. The new owner will be blown away to own such a beautiful handmade guitar. Lucky guy. Peace and Love from Bonny Scotland.
Magnificent guitar. Beautiful to the eye and ear. That lucky pilot won't need a plane to get off the ground once he plays that guitar. I love the aesthetics - everything in the right place, right color, right size. Jerry, you've really outdone yourself. Please make more guitars. That one could easily be your flagship model. Congrats, and thanks!
One has to feel a great satisfaction in creating a lasting and beautiful instrument that will carry notes filled with emotion, joy and human spirit. My hat goes off to Jerry Rosa for continually creating quality & beauty with hands of experience that should last a lifetime.
This is truly a wonderful instrument, I can't wait to go get it. Watching this video is gut-wrenching. I'm glad he put my name on it (-: I already paid in full! I really think he wants to keep it!!! I really can't wait to pick it up.
@@donbishop1229 I have the Carolina Rose and it’s a great Guitar. I will say that yours is ascetically a little better but they are both boomers ! Also unique. 👍
Jerry, what a beautiful work of art! I loved hearing you tune it for the first time, it was like hearing the guitar come to life, what an incredible experience!! You are an artist Jerry, I pray to have you build me a guitar. Thank you so much for this fun experience of watching you bring life to wood, you are Giuseppe. Thanks for the song, I love that song and you did it justice! :)
That guitar is beautiful and sounds fantastic!! I've seen guitars that sell for 16k that do not hold a candle to that one. I did build one better than that, but then I woke up.
Artists get better at what they do with each creation. I've been tuning guitars for 50 years and never seen a tuner do that. To have the needle stay perfectly still like that is extraordinary. The final finish is fine.
WOW, great sound! It almost sounds like you have a pick installed. Very strong high tones. Yup, I know you don't want to see it go. It must sound even better in person.
What an amazing piece of work. Absolutely beautiful. I would like to see Jerry make another guitar just like this one but with rosewood back and sides to see how it would compare.
Hello Jerry - No money in the world pays the love you put into your work !! Thank you for sharing this, I am really glad to learn from you :-) cheers and take care from munich germany, Andi Kristall
I love the intonation finder. I am building a mahogany/stika dread, and in the past, I have agonized over getting the intonation correct. I have an old guitar tailpiece and should be able to do the same thing. I am glad I watched this. You're pretty smart for an old guy :)
Jerry my friend your right the rosette and the diamonds do set off the guitar and the sound is so heavenly that angels sit up and take notice, another example of a true Rosa masterpiece destined to become a family treasure, Well done .
I'd love to know why anyone would give this a thumbs down. What possible reason could they have? I really enjoyed this Jerry. Thanks very much from locked down England.
That guitar sounds amazing and it’s gorgeous, too! Jerry, you’re definitely a master craftsman and true artist. I can’t imagine the satisfaction you must feel from building and then playing a really high quality instrument, with your own hands, that will last for decades. Really impressive work.
Another master piece bud. It sounds amazing, would like to hear it when it opens. Tell the customer it fell in the chipper 😂😂 Respect and stay healthy all.
I've been sanding things since I was a kid building model cars and one thing I've learned about sanding is that there are times to use a power tool, times to use a block and times when sanding with just your fingers and the sandpaper is the best. In fact, I recently did some bodywork on the wife's car and most of the areas were on compound curves so almost all of the finish sanding was fingers and sandpaper, just like you said.
Gobsmackingly beautiful instrument Jerry. The new owner can feel that he has the best instrument that money can buy. Kudos to you Sir. Long may you reign, from a fan from Australia.
That is a beautiful guitar. He should be proud to have it. I have one had a friend built for me and it is a fine guitar. I have a brother like yours the is a great guitar player. He plays Chet Atkins style guitar and everytime he plays it he says he cannot believe that boy built that fine guitar. You done a great job on it. God bless.
Jerry, honestly the guitar looks and sounds amazing. It seriously does have tone written all over it. Honestly the armrest is always a welcomed addition to any guitar as it takes that sharp edge off your arms. I always enjoy this series.
Jerry, i think you have created a masterpiece, that guitar looks and sounds beautiful! I hope you put your label in this one, everybody needs to know who built this awesome guitar!
Jerry, thanks so much for the grand finale on the California Gold guitar. In my humble opinion it is a fantastic guitar, bear in mind I have never played any really high end guitars, but it looks and sounds absolutely wonderful. Thanks for your videos, I enjoy them very much.
Hey Jerry, I know I'm about a week late, but I didn't notice your Rosa Label inside the California Gold Custom... once again your an Amazing Luthier... God Bless... 🙏👍👍👍
Jerry, you really outdid yourself this time! The guitar is perfect: gorgeous, loud, and ringing out lovely tone for days! I enjoyed all the music in this episode. I hope you remembered to put your label inside, although it is obviously a Rosa, because it's perfect!! You should be real proud of it, and I know Mr. Bishop will love it. My condolences to you and your Missus. May God bless. BTW, when my carpal tunnel acts up, it helps to wear this brace called a Mueller Carpal Tunnel Wrist Stabilizer. I got it at the pharmacy for about $20.00 a few years ago, and after a couple days, it enables me to work relatively pain free, first with the brace, and then without it. (I'm 67 and work full time with my hands.) It feels a little awkward at first working with the brace on, but your fingers are free, so it can be done for most things, and it works.
Thank you my friend. I shouldn't discuss such things in videos. Mainly because things change. Turns out it is not Carpal Tunnel. According to the latest "hand specialist doctor" it is advanced stage 3 arthritis. He didn't indicate that surgery would be in my best interest. So for now at least, I'm stuck...
She really is perfect. Really digging the wood binding. I feel you about the carpel tunnel being a 40 year mechanic. I always wondered if playing guitar also for 40 years has kept me from getting it in my left hand.... so far.
That's really a magnificently looking and sounding guitar! From my own (one time) building experience I know that after getting the neck set right the cosmetic part and the finishing really are the hardest parts. It's good to see that even for a seasoned professional like you that still holds true.
Jerry is a proud daddy. It is so much fun watching a master at work. Thanks for sharing.

Another RSW masterpiece ! A master at work for the benefit of thankful musicians 👍👍👍
Mate, you are a wizard. That is as much a work of art as it is a perfect musical instrument. Great videos - a pleasure to watch.
Superb craftsmanship, beautiful instrument, very nice mr Rosa👍
Thanks for sending the very cool RSW t- shirt all the way to the UK!
Jerry LOVES every Rosa Strings Guitar he makes. Whoever can afford them are lucky to get such an awesomely made (and loved) guitar.

Lovesick Blues is the feeling when you hand that guitar to it's new owner.

That is a Master Class guitar for sure. Very loud and balanced in my ears.
Beautiful appearance as well, so congratulations on the build.

I actually laughed out loud Jerry when you mentioned the slightly sharp b string. You are an amazing luthier.
wow! just WOW! I could tell it was a canon when you put only 2 strings n it! wicked good sound and a beauty eye candy!
Thanks Randy, means more than you know.
we saw it come to life from rough wood. You have a gift Jerry. you should sign each one and put a sticker in it. thx!!!
Love the neck on that, can only imagine what that guitar will be like in 50 years time.
Jerry , that is one beautiful guitar ..........boy the wood is so figured ........10 out of 10 on this one...........and the sound 100%+
