Now that the Director's Cut version is out, i relistened to the whole album for the first time in a while. I've always liked this song, but something about it has really clicked with me now and I've been repeating it constantly. It's just hauntingly gorgeous.
this song was AMAZING, listening to both underscores and jane remover is SICK but this song is SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY also I LOST IT WHEN I HEARD THE INLAWS BIT
Fishmonger came out during a pretty introspective time in my life. Hearing Kinkos Field Trip gave me absolute chills. I never thought music could do that to me again but here it is.
As soon as I started listening to Wallsocket in the middle of my school day yesterday this song just hit me right. Probably the best song on the entire album
Months before the announcement of the wallsocket era, underscores posted on her story asking for questions regarding fishmonger era and I asked if she would ever perform anything off of Fresh Catch/B Sides. Then we get an inlaws sample :sob:. This surely will do.
never did i thought i would be scared by a song lyrics. this whole uncanny long arms this just... idk. bothers me in such a weird way. And also the feeling you get by the singing to, like, pure despair. new music genre: horror
Under-rated beyond belief is the current unfortunate reality of _underscores:_ however, whether this serves as a testament of true change on that front, or the hopeful belief of a newly acquired fan; the winds are shifting, as I live within North Georgia, without so much as a single friend who would know the first thing about how incredibly talented you, genuinely, are; moreover, it is a sign that your work is now reaching out to far more than the average listener of this amazing music. I don't mean to suggest that North GA is going to flood your base with an overwhelming amount of fans; I am merely speculating that if I am able to discovering your work in _my_ _little_ _quiet_ _town_ _in_ _the_ _middle_ _of_ _literally_ _no-fucking-where,_ then perhaps there is likely a huge surge of other listeners across all reaches of our vast dry land that soon will be, as well. Truly amazing stuff; I am so very grateful to have found it. I, too, do not want you to die yet (or any time before your time), and among countless reasons as to why, one is most certainly because I haven't yet finished listening to all of this masterfully-developed music that you've been working on. Good luck! 🤍 =)
