I love what Andy Powers is doing for Taylor. It's great to see him traveling around to all of these shops and dealers and playing the instruments he designs and builds. He clearly has so much love for guitars in general and also whatever guitar is in his hands. How many other guitar company CEOs are out there in the shops playing and jamming with the shops and the people?! Rock on Taylor and Andy!

Be nice to see Taylor reproduce some dreads from the early days....prior to the switch to bolt-on. Make them like they used to!

I do believe that would be missing the point of being innovative, and not doing what everyone else is doing. Play guitars because they sound good, not because they have the specs you are looking for!

@caleblavake9831 I agree with you 💯. The problem for me with Taylor is that their innovation has changed them so much that they don't sound as good to me as they once did. Therefore, I don't play them.

Taylor needs to bring back their old x bracing. Not a fan of the new bracing, it sounds compressed to me.

I’ve found that it just takes finding the right wood combo, not the bracing. Playing all the guitars really brings out different characteristics, and is helpful in finding the sound in your head. It took me removing any concept of “specs” in my mind so I didn’t build prejudice before playing the guitar, and then I realized that there are many V-Class guitars that sound awesome, you just have to find the one that speaks to you.

@@caleblavake9831 I would have to disagree. When it comes to the guitars sound, the bracing is just as important as the woods being used, if not more important. You can have two guitars with the exact same woods. Guitar 1 with forward shifted scalloped x bracing and guitar 2 with the V class bracing. You'll find that guitar 1 will have a fuller and louder sound. Now whether that's better is a matter of opinion.
