Actually Jingles.... The citadel you said was caused by his SAPI was caused by him firing AP. Don't ever changes Jingles! : ) you are my captains voice on all ships, game much more fun now!
Some additional commentary for the match from me (the Brindisi player): First of all, the camera thingy - the general point is to reduce tunnel-visioning in the ships, however, I do agree that it's a bit much at points (can't play the game when I'm too tired since it also gets me dizzy, shitty habit lol). Brindisi is a special case cause the ship is quite squishy at times (out of my 43 games i got dev-struck 5/6 times cause I wasn't attentive enough) so I'm a bit paranoid and it's more annoying to watch then it usually is when I play other ships. The fuel smoke: People tend to use it as a "farm damage for free for 40 seconds" card which is viable sometimes, but is not the most optimal use IMO. You can use the smoke for repositioning so that you are in a good position once the smoke ends. First smoke: Reposition to kill the Z-23 with Chung Mu Radar (turning while in smoke) Second smoke: Falling back from the overextended position in B (turning while in smoke) Third smoke: Getting to the Flank after the Kitakaze got killed (which would have me barely spotted in smoke) The SAP: Good aim is being rewarded a lot more since the SAP alpha has the fire dmg from HE baked in (meaning you can't hit one shell out of 12 and get 10k fire damage out of that like you can with HE). If you can make it work you'll have decent success with the ships going from Amalfi forward. The AP: Brindisi gets Venezias guns so you have a decent amount of pen (you can citadel sinops/vladis/north carolinas close range) if MM favours you. SAP still is the favoured type of ammunition 95% of the time and yoloing battleships isn't generally recommended either. The torps: Fire and forget on cooldown if there aren't teammates in front of you. People can get caught off guard by them, they don't deal much dmg but any dmg is appreciated to get Confederate faster for the Sansonetti bonus (must-have captain for this line). Thanks for sharing the game with everyone!
