Great question! I’m not an insurance agent, but I do have a couple of agents who do insure the Tehachapi area. If you email me, I’d be happy to give you their information. They should be able to give you an answer to that question before you schedule a time to see it.
I show the well and pump at the end of the video. Homesteading is allowed in this area, but it’s always best to become familiar with county and zoning details for each property.
Wow. That's a great house and property. Is there an HOA for the roads? Just asking. They have them on the east coast. Is this house last on the dirt road, or first? What's the closest house to that house? Thank you.
Great questions! There is no HOA in this area. It is not the last house on this road, but there aren’t many homes past it. The closest house is not very far, maybe 300 feet on one side, but down a sloped area. Most of these properties are about 2-20 acres each, so plenty of room in between them. Feel free to email me if you have any additional questions.
Sorry, just can’t find myself buying a second property, especially an off grid type, here in Kalifornia. If you’re licensed in Arizona or Nevada, let us know.
THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!! PERFECT FOR THE ACTIVE INTROVERT!!!!! BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY
Great town, great weather, great people, trains and Kohnen's German Bakery. That's about all you need.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the view! 😍
I like the off grid part in a bit of land👍
Huge question, could I get insurance? It seems like THIS single issue is preventing us from actually purchasing a house in SoCal.

❤❤, Can't believe the price!
So much bang for your buck at this property!
looks awesome....but also looks like it is in the middle of a fire hazard...can it be insured?
Yes, the current owners have it insured. I am always happy to share insurance agents that will insure the Tehachapi area.
Awesome home! 🏠
Awesome home
any water source and are we allowed homesteading in this area?

All wood fired stoves or pellets? How cold does it get?
Tehachapi gets all 4 seasons. Average temps based on month can be found online.
I see that this property was recently sold in April of this year, any reason it is back on the market so soon?
Great question! The sellers had a unexpected change in work assignment.
Nice

Totally understand! I’m only licensed in CA, but I wish you lots of luck with your future home search!
If I buy this home does the beautiful realtor come with it?? 😂
The Realtor is not for sale 😊
You rock
