Beautiful pieces, iam a registered Choctaw tribal artist and do traditional hunting and possible bags but hope to get this good one day.
Good video, although saying the Lenape were 'forcibly migrated' is an oversimplification. There is certainly some truth to that at times (the Walking Purchase and in Kansas), but the true history is far more complex. The Lenape lost wars to Iroquois nations and the Susquehannock, and were forced to pay tribute and move during those eras. They also sided with the French mostly in the French and Indian War and then joined Pontiac's Rebellion, which caused disruption and displacement, and obviously put them on bad terms with the British/American settlers. The Lenape became further divided when some bands converted to Christianity, others joined the British when the War of American Independence broke out, and so on. The history is complex, and while there certainly is some abysmal acts by American settlers and the American government, the Lenape were well involved with plenty of equal wars and were already being bullied out of lands by other Indian tribes. Thus is the reality of history anywhere in the world by any groups of people.
