  • Episode 2 (of 3) of our June 2021 Botswana Adventure.
This trip was more than 2 years in the making. Due to Covid, our trip for 2020 had to be cancelled.
This year we ALMOST were not able to do this trip, again Covid.
For this trip, we enjoyed the Khwai River area and Moremi Game Reserve.
Needles to say, we had many water crossings and getting stuck in the mud on occasion... Great fun was had - This was truly an Adventure!
Khwai and Moremi Game Reserve is fantastic place for Game Viewing. One of the best in the world.
Combine your love of Nature and Wild Life to Adventurous exploration - You have the PERFECT playground for an African Adventure!
Did we Experience Wild Africa on this Trip? - 101% YES WE DID!

New subscriber here! Just came across your channel. We're planning an overlanding trip in July 2023. Your videos are helping us get the 'lay of the land' so to speak. Thank you so much and hope there's more adventures in the future!

Welcome, and I am very happy to hear that my videos do assist other adventure like minded souls! :-)
If you would like, please share your plans with us (Braam@ExperienceWildAfrica.co.za) as we are a small group of 4 vehicles doing a Botswana Safari from 15 to 23 July 2023. If luck is on our side, we might meet up somewhere for a cold drink or cup of coffee!
      Cheers

      Botswana is a special place.
You will enjoy and find the CKGR fascinating. The Delta and surrounding areas is a phenomenal place. Savuti and Chobe, what can I say.... spectacular! Then there still is Hunters Road, Tsodilo hills, Linyanti, Khama Rhino Sanctuary, Lekubu Island and the pans (Makgadigadi & Nxai) ~ Requires a few trips to see and experience all of them!
      Thank you for watching

What happened to the peace and quiet that you referred to. Clanging of xylophone not conducive.

"You can definitely bring your wife and your children" - as if it was a macho man's prerogative to decide on the matter...

      Hi Pedro,
      Apologies for replying so late.
The decision to bring your wife and children is based on the danger factor of the wild animals in the area, and how wild the African bush is around at the lodge.
From a Lodge point of view it is for instance a lot more safe than wild camping just on the same area
It was not meant as a macho's man decision on behalf of his wife and children. My view is - and I have been criticized for this in the past - I have been exposing my wife and children to the African bush since my children have been very young. Doing so responsibly is a major factor.
      Thank you for your comment
      Cheers
