I do agree that there will never be another true royal like our Queen. It's sort of ironic to think that it may very well be her own family that brings an end to the Royals in Canada.

The whole period of 30 years of the country’s independence Kulibayev family robbed businesses, people. They were part of so called mighty Nazarbayev clan and this has to end. Only developed countries like yours are able to help to balance the justice in regards of this family. This process has already started. What would the title of the Head of State be and how would the person occupying that office be selected or elected? Or would the roles of Head of State and Government be merged like it is here in the US?
It's the Canadian Monarchy, not the British Monarchy. And in order to get rid of the monarchy, you would have to get all political parties, all 10 provincial legislatures, and both Houses of Parliament to agree. A referendum would not cut it.
