You are a phenomenal interpreter! Thank you for doing visual examples because I never fully understood the jargon. Even though I know what it meant, I wasn't able to apply it to what it could or would look like in an interpretation.
Thank you so much for these videos! We can each have a part in improving deaf education by increasing our knowledge and skills as interpreters; it is so important that we never become complacent but always strive to do better.
Thank you for a clear interpreted example of top down processing. In my studies, I have only ever been told I need to do this but have not been shown the difference. Thank you!
Hello, I took the PSE version of EIPA, on my feedback it gives the top down processing. I thought I was suppose to do English word order, so I am so confused after seeing my feedback! Any ideas? Do you do zoom meetings?
Thank you for explaining this so clearly! I continue to get feedback on top down processing and prosody as well. Your comparison made so much sense to me; I LOVE that you compare the two approaches the way that you did. I feel like I've done research and I 'know' these things....but not in a practical way that I could see how they impact the work. THANK YOU!
Sorry for not responding sooner. I missed the notification that you responded to my comment. The test itself is only an hour long or so. But there is a long wait for the results. I don't like the long wait but the feedback that is given is VERRY HELPFUL!
Awesome video, will be watching again and again. I can see where I need to improve but also give myself a little more credit as I can see where I have improved based on the 'wrong way' video.
What a wonderful resource this video is. Thank you so much for sharing

I had a similar issue. The fourth time I took ASL instead and passed with a high score.
Not sure if your comment is for me or Hansen.
Truly breathtaking! Awesome job...thanks for sharing!

Thank you for these tips. I struggle with allowing lag time. I need to really focus on allowing lag time.
Thank you for this video. I recently got my results for my EIPA and these were major feedback points they gave me.
How long is the test?
