To be fair, it is an actual lobotomy tool and the "reveal" was written into episode 4 only _after_ the writers realized that it wasn't obvious and nobody was looking it up.
@TheMoviecouple I have a theory that the guy butcher talks to from the CIA is a figment of his imagination like becca is(you notice he never interacts with any of the other characters but butcher.Just a thought) Like Becca is the angel for butcher and the other guy is the devil for butcher(2 sides of butcher)
It just gets far far better in episode 4 and 5, both are masterpieces. Episode 3 is really when things kick off, and i gave this episode a 9/10. 4 and 5 got 10/10's.
The reveal of what the bloody implement actually is in the next episode is so on point for the show.
