This channel audio test is necessary when you repair your headphones to make sure the sound is correctly divided between the channels. I always use left & right sound test when install or replace old, broken 3.5mm stereo or 3.5mm 4 pole jack/plug or when repair/fix and replace broken headphone cable. I hope that this stereo channel test useful.

look into settings. maybe in mono
2 options: you probably set your device audio to mono via your settings / the earphone has only 1 input line which means it was made to be mono, but since your device is set to stereo only one side is given to each input lines and only one of them can be detected by your earphone

For some reason it’s super satisfying when one side doesn’t work as well as the other. Isolating it feels so nice. It’s like you’re cleaning it out. I can’t explain it.

This is helpful for those who are wearing their headphones the wrong way.
Theres something weird going on with my headphones. It sound good until it randomly decides to sound bad. When it sound bad, its like a determined frequency or "direction" is missing. Cant really figure out what it is. In this video, for example, when both headphones are playing it sounds on low volumne but when any of the sides is playing it sounds on both ears but slightly louder

Just got new speakers. This is the fourth test (video) I ran. Swapped L/R speakers multiple times. The same speaker always sounds a little lower than the other. Returning these speakers. Thanks for this.
Ok so all joking aside I love this video simply because it's on shorts and I can let it auto play over and over while fixing my shit and then give it a thumbs up and close the video and go back to the sound clip I was listening to.

Turns out, this was the video I learned that the iPhone speakers near the home button don’t get split left and right, but the bottom speakers are left speakers and the top speaker near the selfie camera is the right speaker.
i think i dropped my earbuds too many times… they’re inverted now and idk how to fix it
i have found solution! wearing them upside down! it feels weird but i’ll get used to it i guess
more important than corect side is comfort.

thanks for confirming that my headphones are normal and it's just that the song I was listening to had more bass on the left and synth on the right
Changed the eartips to 2 different shades of black to identify the sides as mine is a simple generic earphone(not angled or written L or R)

I just wanna say thanks to this video for always being there for me whenever I buy a new pair of earphones.

just realizing that my tablet (im using) has 3D sound
very smart test. on my speakers, the drums are more clear on the right damaged speaker and the guitar on the left damaged speaker. simple tone test would not have shown this distinction. it's like having an amiga again!

Thanks dropped my right earbud in water, and I thought it was ruined since it sounded like the audio got quieter than the left earbud. Turns out it was all in my head and I kept convincing myself it's broken.
