Hi Autumn! I just bought the Eva from TRR. The description states moderate scratching on the gold plate. If it's an eye sore I'll send it to LV for a new one. I heard a price increase just happened on July 2nd. Ugh. Hope the plate isn't too expensive. You got a great deal on your Eva. I wanted a pochette accessories but with the Eva having more detail I decided on the Eva and the one I got ended up being $871 plus tax and it will come with the DE strap. It appears to hold about the same as the pochette, yes? Thank you for all the details on the Eva along with the dress up! Love it! ❤ You do awesome reviews!
Louis Vuitton sells the strap as a replacement part. For the ebene strap I paid $70. You have to order in the store and have the bag with you. The vachetta strap cost a little more.
Well, that's good to know. I wonder if you just have to have the bag with you or if they check your purchase history. In other words, would they sell it to me at that price for a piece I purchased preloved? I guess at $200 I really overpaid!

Love it! Just ordered it from Japan! It was going to take two days to ship door-to-door, but we have a huge storm so I’m sure it’ll take a couple extra days. If it is exactly as pictured, I’m going to be a very happy lady! I have that thick gold chain like you do and I ordered a strap from Mcraftleather that looks exactly like the Louis Vuitton one you have ($69). I’m going to look into that thinner gold strap. I just used it at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo the other day. I had planned to take a big bag but realized I might have to have a small one for the stadium concert. It was perfect. Just fit all my necessities. I should do a WIMB on that. Has yours arrived yet? Do you love it? I'm feeling like I need a small azur bag...maybe the Eva or the Favorite or the Speedy 25. Can't decide.
You got a good deal with the price of that bag. I like the Eva bag and was thinking about purchasing. I'm so scare to buy pre-love bags as I don't want to get scammed but I know there are really good bargains on pre-love items. I might try it one day
You're safe if you shop from places like Fashionphile, The Real Real, and Bag, Borrow, or Steal. Those companies sell bags that they've already authenticated so it's not individuals selling like on eBay or Tradesy. I know what you mean, though. I've heard so many horror stories about people getting scammed!
Great review! I agree the prices for LV straps are crazy. I have a couple of cheaper non LV chain straps that I love, easier on the wallet. :)
Yeah, I know about some of those strap shops on etsy but I don't think I knew about them at the time or I probably would have purchased one. I'm glad I scrolled down and saw your comment. UA-cam didn't send me a notification about it like they usually do.

That was a Canon G9X. For vlogging you'd want something small like that one but probably one with a reticulating screen so you can turn the screen around to see how you're framing the shot. My favorites are from the Canon G series but they're expensive because they have larger sensors (that's where the image is recorded and larger sensor = higher quality = more money!).

Cute clutch! One thing I don't like about this and the pochette is that the zipper is so long and they put the D ring for the chain on the zipper area rather than matching the D ring on other side. Otherwise it's adorable!

Its amazing what LV straps cost right! But I guess its LV so....you gotta have it!
The prices on straps are ridiculous! I did feel the need to have it on that bag, though. Especially since the total cost of the bag with strap was still less than buying it new in the store. :)
I think newer Louis Vuitton bags were not made exactly with brass. I think it's coated metal. That's why it's wearing off. Using brasso on older pieces works wonders. I am not risking to use it on my eva clutch :(

I am so glad I watched this video because my birthday is next month (August 23rd😬) and my hubby was thinking of buying me a preloved speedy25 or 30 in either Damier Azur or Ebene but with him being the only one working right now, I just don't think we can afford it because most of the preloved speedys are still around 700.00 or more if it's in decent shape.So I think I will have better luck looking for the Eva clutch or the FavoritePM.👍🏻 I bought a Favoritemm back in February from EBay and it was a replica so I did return it and I got my money back.😔 I will only buy from the Facebook addicted group or Fashionphile now.. I have never checked out bag,borrow and steal..do you know if there prices are better than Fashionphile? I love your Eva and I think she's in amazing condition!!❤️❤️❤️
Marsha Collett I think Bag, Borrow, or Steal's prices tend to be about the same. I also love The Real Real. And Fashionphile, in case you don't know, has free layaway. You just put about 20% down and pay the rest over 8 weeks. I've seen preloved vintage Speedys on the Facebook group for under $400. I"m on Ban Island right now or I'd get one. Those are the monogram ones, though. I love my little Eva. The Favorite is beautiful, too.
Autumn Beckman thanks for telling me about the Layaway because I didn't know!!👌 I have seen some of the people who have speedys for sale on the Facebook group that say they have a payment plan available but none of the bags were in my price range... But I will check into the layaway on Fashionphile and maybe I will get lucky and find a vintage speedy in Damier Azur or Ebene on the Facebook group!!😉If I could find a Eva than looks as good as yours at a similar price that you paid then I would jump on it!!😂👍🏻✔️Yours is truly gorgeous!!❤️
