Nobody says it makes your car faster or add horsepower..it does what they made it to do it gives u quicker access to the cars power and response so why everyone trying to say it don't work...it do and I have one and it removes all that lag!
Thanks for the honest opinion. I’m getting me one now. I’ve seen 100 of reactions mostly positive, but you sealed the deal for me. Porsche Panamera turbo here . Thanks
Thanks man I didn't think it was that good but after getting in my friends chrisler 300 on sport plus I was quickly mind-changed. You definitely put the cherry on top and I got mine thanks again for such an honest review I appreciate it.
I use it on my 19 Chrysler 300S and yes it makes a difference and I loved it but my car hates it,,,it keeps engaging my check engine light and constantly putting my car into Limp mode even when casually driving and when the commander is off so I need a refund and for it to be un installed…I’ve only had for about 2 weeks and I’ve followed all instructions and directions from company and other users of the product
Just put one on my C7 auto corvette and it’s exactly what i hoped for! My other cars felt so much daster even though they weren’t because they take off with little effort whereas my vette was either mild or wild which needed it all the way to the floor to be wild......there was no in between. I tossed in the commander and set it to sport 1 and wow- perfect! Whole new car and much more fun now.
you can use the pedal commander while moving, but…. you MUST have your foot completely off the gas pedal to change through the modes otherwise it could cause issues
Wow your car sounds great! I just installed the roar pedal on my BMW 2 weeks ago and yes it makes a huge difference! So cool how you included getting pulled over too! Awesome video!
This video is the best description of this device. No need to wonder if you want it or not. I'm subscribing to your channel today with the notification bell. If all of your videos are in the level of clarity, I will be checking out all of your videos. I have pretty much made my mind up about this product from the other videos, which was basically someone's opinion. Thank you for taking the time to be a reliable source for us. One thing. With you putting the device under the dash, is that a good idea if you will, from time to time, change the settings? Especially if you need better response on the fly.
Responding to my own comment, if I had waited until the end of the video, I would have known this device could be controlled from your smartphone. Great idea to mount out of sight. I will get one for my vehicles.
changing the sensitivity or main settings on the pedal Commander while driving only becomes dangerous because the signal changes. this means that if you go from normal driving in normal mode to normal driving in sport Plus mode you now have wide open throttle at half pedal depression which will surprise you if you're not expecting it.
It also glitches the Pedal commander. You have to be at a complete stop or it the car will think you lost throttle power. I didn't realize this and changed settings while moving, got a CEL and power light.
@@itb4255 I've done it without issue. The variable could be my vehicle was a different model than yours, or because the PC I had was different because I had a different vehicle 🤔, not sure.
I'll pick up 1 of these. FOR SURE. I've got the 3.6L V6 in my '19 Camaro. It's definitely quick already. But it needs a little more. Hope they make one for mine. THX for the honest opinion.
At 23 minutes, laughing because it did not say to start the car it said to just turn the ignition on. Completely different things. As for how the thing is actually working, it cannot change the way the ECM computer signals the intake vane. It cannot speeded up or slow it down that's hardcoded into the ECM programming. The only thing any throttle controller in the world can do is vary the amount of signal going into the ECM telling it the throttle position. What the controller does is for example in mode city +2, you press the accelerator pedal down 10% but the pedal can and or sends a signal to the ECM that you've pushed it 30% or 40 or 50 or whatever. That's the only power an external device like the Pedal Commander could ever have. But for my Subaru Crosstrek that was plenty enough to make it more enjoyable to drive, and that's all I was asking it to do in the first place. Electronics & Communications tech for 55 years across a broad base of different industries. Very fun watching you experience it in that beast you're driving LOL. Makes a much more noticeable difference than in my 162 hp Subaru! Enjoy!
Its literally just shifting where the throttle opens in relation to the pedal. In sport mode, the last half of your pedal is just dead space because its condensed 100% into 50% of your pedal throw. Its not doing anything for performance, just press the pedal more.
Good review, has anyone used this in the ECO mode all the time to see if it will increase your MPG on long highway trips? I'm getting on my 2017 V6 in V4 mode about 34-36 MPG, will this improve that? I know this mainly for better throttle responce but does the ECO keep the Camaro in V4 mode longer that without the PC49 Petal Commander? Thanks
it by itself does not change your air fuel ratio or miles per gallon, what it does is give you a more instant and more linear throttle opening and in the higher sensitivity settings like sport Plus, it will move wide open throttle to about half pedal depression. eco mode is pretty much only recommended for slippery conditions when immediate and large amounts of throttle would be problematic. eco mode will not allow you to give your engine enough air to have high RPMs, nearly guaranteeing that you're going to maintain traction under safe vehicle operation on slippery services.
It only effects the sensitivity of the gas pedal. You wont have as much play room with the gas. For example, I just installed it a few days ago. Before I backed out of my parking spot, I put it into sport+ mode and +4. I backed out, went to give it a little gas and I was on my way to doing a burnout. Just the tiniest pressure on the gas was like giving it full throttle. I found that the sweet spot for me is sport mode and +1. It feels how the car should’ve been made.

Thank you for your input, I have not experienced any problems with my unit. With that being said nothing in this world is 100% so I’m sure there are problems out there.
Yeah definitely cut to the chase more in your videos, a 42-minute video that really should have been done in less than 10 minutes. That's just too much and people won't subscribe.
These things are junk. It will eventually fail and cause your tps and throttle body to go bad. Look up Pedal Commander problems. some of these guys are getting stuck in full throttle. It will for sure cause you issues.... just a matter of time

exactly right. It's funny. People have a block to understanding it 🤣
Wrong
But if that's true it should have a faster 0-60 and that's not true
Well actually if it is opening up the throttle more and quicker, it's going to make your vehicle faster.
Absolutely! I love it.
I have had a pedal commander 2yrs. I purchased it to eliminate turbo lag. It has done exactly that full stop ✋️

Does it still work? Did it cause any problems for your car? Any check engine lights came on?a
Works great

A lot easier to use the device than waste time with bluetooth . I'd rather have the non-bluetooth version in full view.

Nice video bro. I subscribe now. I think you sold me on the pedal commander. Wanna see how it does on my C6. Great content keep it coming.

First time here. Liked & Sub. Good info. Enjoyed the test drive.
I think you need to hang the keys up and so the car to someonep can handle the horsepower
Definitely hear the tires 😅
Do you think your 1/4 mile time improved at all?
Very informative, thank you 😊👍
Suggestion maybe get a little comfortable with the product before filming
Wouldn’t be a true review then

I wish I could say it does have eco mode but it makes the Camaro extremely sluggish. I guess for long trips maybe 🤔 but I have never tried it 😁
