How is it possible that if Aventurine plays with Ruan mei and Sparkle the damage is all her own, while if any unit plays with Robin it is a fraud and is actually a Robin showcase? aventurine is the most broken unit in this game, not only does he provide shields that literally don't let your characters get hurt at all but in a hypercarry setup casually dishes out almost 200k damage 😭 in.sane.
I did 2 10 pulls and got Jiaoqiu so I wasn't exactly planning on building him so his traces aren't maxed yet since I'm gated by EoW reset. Anyways, I'm late to the game, but first impressions at E0S0 is he's pretty good, but worse than/roughly equal to the common Harmonies in non-Nihility carry teams (i.e. everyone but Acheron and Kafka). For Ratio, I didn't really notice a difference between Jiaoqiu and Pela, with the only relevant one being weakness matching for AS. Obviously at E0S1, and especially at E1S1, Jiaoqiu is much better than Pela, but at E0S0 it's barely anything as expected. As for Topaz, Jiaoqiu is roughly equal (assuming he's E0S1 while she's E0S1/E1S1) but he has the advantage of boosting all of Robin and Aventurine's damage so with him the team will likely do more total damage. For this Aventurine hypercarry, Pela was worse by 1 cycle, and she was slower on the first wave, equal pace on Argenti. I'll do some more testing with Argenti, but so far he is still a Harmony sidegrade to Sparkle or Tingyun (with Huohuo, otherwise Tingyun is still mandatory unless you're doing -1 SPD Bronya), but worse than Robin or lining up Sparkle-Bronya (which is expected). It does feel worse to play though due to the lack of action advance for Argenti. For 0 cyclers though, he'll be at the top since he provides a whole new multiplier that the Harmonies don't inflate. I guess my current opinion is he's pretty good but not the best for a second support option for non Acheron or Kafka teams, extremely good when dropping sustain for more damage.
Ooh you got the pink fox! Grats! I also went for him (e0S1). I really like using him with Argenti (Bronya, Jaoqiu, Huohuo) since I don't have Sparkle, he works great there for me. And of course with Ratio (&Robin) for the defuffs feast. As for your run, the Aventurine Hypercarry are always so impressive! Like, what? Aventurine dude you're supposed to be a tank (He did't get the memo).
@@ineedsleepyow iirc vulnerability is a final multiplier, so he more or less increases her damage by 35%. Concerto procs aren't considered as ultimate damage though, but his Ashen roast stacks work. More if he's wearing Resolution LC or his signature.

I farm for multiple characters at once in the same domain, so everyone gets hand-me-down pieces until everyone's suitably geared for my tastes. I sat in the Prisoner/Duke domain for a few months until I got enough pieces to share among Jing Yuan, Clara, Topaz, Himeko, and Herta. Then I moved onto Watchmaker/Pioneer for Ratio, Aventurine, Ruan Mei, and HMC. Now I'm at Eagle for my supports. Anyone who doesn't use the sets I farm, I just use 2pc/2pc ATK% sets or rainbow to get the substats I need, like Argenti and Dan Heng IL.
Without signatures, you'd clear slower by like a cycle assuming you have the same stats as me. Generally, when people say their characters don't do enough damage despite being "decently built", my first questions are if their Crit rate is at least 70-80% before any buffs, are they using SPD boots on someone who doesn't benefit from them much, are you timing all your buffs and/or debuffs when you do your main damage rotation, are you playing around enemy mechanics or the Turbulence such as breaking enemies if possible.
Thank you for the showcase! With the new reruns coming out, other than getting robin e0s1/e1s1 (very unsure on what to get), is e0s1 topaz enough to support ratio for him to constantly do debuffs? Thanks in advance!
Moze has 2 debuffs without pulling for either a limited E1 or S1 iirc, so I'd just use him instead of Topaz. Or Jiaoqiu/Pela with Pearls. All of them are roughly equal to Topaz (and in some cases better).

E0S0 Topaz is bad for Ratio imo, as she neither has enough debuffs for consistent Ratio FUA's and her personal damage is medicore. If you really like her, I'd aim for E0S1, but if you don't have enough pulls to spare I'd skip and just use Moze/Pela/Jiaoqiu.

Sparkle's E1 and Ruan Mei's LC are pretty worthless since Aventurine doesn't scale from ATK and the extra SP isn't relevant for him. Robin's LC can easily be substituted for Bronya's LC as well. I finished with 5 cycles remaining, so if you had worse relics or missed some LC's, you have a lot of leeway. Although Aventurine LC is such a giant difference to becoming a legitimate sub-DPS (main DPS in this case) due to the lacking 4* options.

If it's Mono Quantum, hard no. Trying to brute force while maintaining SP efficiency with having to implant each enemy + QQ's RNG is awful. Otherwise it'd be Gallagher + 2 Harmonies + QQ.

Ratio + Gallagher technique is 2 debuffs. Ratio's skill gives another, so that's 3, which is exactly enough. Gallagher's EBA and breaking (imprisonment/burn) also give extra debuffs.
Ratio's best team which is RRAT team has no nihility though? Even with a Moze variant team without Topaz, there is still no nihility. Plus, double harmony can actually work with Ratio if you have him with Topaz LC and using Aventurine as sustain with his own sig LC since I tried it and have been 0-3 cycling MoC with that team.
Yeah because she totally did all the damage, is totally energy self sufficient, and broke all 3 puppets on her own. I might as well have just put her solo and I'd clear in the same time.
