    It seems like the club has taken the supporters for granted with their season ticket prices. I am a Rovers supporter, but was impressed with how many Blackpool fans stuck by the club through relegation. Home gates of 10,000 are not to be sniffed at for league one, but the club risks going back to the dark days of the 1980s. I remember going to Bloomfield Rd with my friends and the gates averaged between 3 and 5,000.

      Yes it was incredible the numbers that bought season tickets last year. They need to turn this around sharpish or they will feel the full weight of discontent in ticket prices and it will serve them right if they don't stop the rot and start putting in some decent performances as people will vote with their feet. Blackpool was a family club with a huge fan togetherness but they are steadily eroding all that with their 'corporate machine'
      Very sad

      @@LeeCharlesTV I think you will pick up this season. I personally see you finishing around 10th place, but clearly Blackpool supporters wanted to finish in the play-offs as a minimum (you might still get there). I have a lot of friends who are Blackpool supporters and it was a joy to see everyone so happy when you were in the PL. I live in Poulton and the place was rocking!

    A shout out to Ronaldo as he misses Man utd,so I posted this Lee, Does he really want or need the pressure of going back ,when he can live the easy life with his beautiful wife and kids he don't need the money, but if he fancies coming back to the North West he could at least live by the sea as Blackpool Fc are a club sinking and our chairman is not having a good year or our manager in League 1 after 2 games Blackpool are bottom of the league, played 2 -Won 0/Drawn -0 / Lost 2 GF 1 GA 6 /GD -5 .
    So Ronaldo you fancy helping out even buy us I'm sure you could help out OK thanks 😊

    Hi Lee. IMO alarm bells should have been ringing all through last season with the unacceptable contrast in home and away results. Many of the home wins weren't really convincing or entertaining either. Something has to give. Our club has so much potential which could be unlocked with vision and drive.

    I’m very much a Critchley out, never wanted him back in the first place and I actually refused to go to a game whilst he’s back (this never happened) I honestly hate him for leaving us in the mud to be Gerrard’s assistant

    • @LeeCharlesTV
      @LeeCharlesTV  5 місяців тому

      Yep his walking away was a major reason for the managerial he'll that followed and the relegation and I can see many don't forgive him.
      I said this last year the last thing SS wanted to do was bring another manager in that divided fans from the get go and what did he do???

  • @MrJammie81
    @MrJammie81 5 місяців тому

    Don’t panic long way to go I fear Chritch won’t be your manager though, we won league 2 after winning one of our first 6 games so long way to go.

    • @LeeCharlesTV
      @LeeCharlesTV  5 місяців тому

      Yes there's a long way to go. If Critch stubbornly continues with this system despite it clearly being a major problem and the bad performances carry on then I can't see how he can keep going as our manager

  • @davidleadbetter801

    Maybe Blackpool's level of support shows that their home is now Division 1 and no higher???
    After all if they were to get promoted to the Championship they most certainly would have the worst attendances in that division as they would have similar gates to both Rotherham and Peterborough Utd around 10,000 average.

    • @LeeCharlesTV
      @LeeCharlesTV  2 місяці тому

      The level of support is determined by certain factors. The increased ticket price fiasco, the quality of football and the fact Blackpool are in League 1. If the football was great, we were in the Championship, there was better investment in the team and prices for tickets were more reasonable we wouldn't be getting these attendances. We are where we are because we are where we are and if we get relegated the attendances will be even less but, if by some miracle we got promoted the attendances would go up. Will we ever see regular attendances of 20, 30, 40K? No I don't think we ever could tbh could we have regular 15K attendances in the Championship playing good football, with affordable ticket pricing then yeah for sure I think we would

  • @dastardly73
    @dastardly73 5 місяців тому +1

    Neil nice guy but was persevering with team tactics that didn't seem to suit us at all...no attacking threat...I dont think we have brought in enough decent players this summer to mount a challenge!!

    • @LeeCharlesTV
      @LeeCharlesTV  5 місяців тому +1

      no neither do I sadly it is a very BIG few days coming up and I'm not confident that we have the time to find a new manager (unless a deal is already in the pipeline) and bring in some more players

      @LeeCharlesTV if a manager hasn't been agreed already, I would be surprised. 8 days till transfer window closes...something needs to be announced by weekend.

    Gutted missed the livestream 😮anyways err im not happy we have Chairman who im sure in training to take that dreaded step up to the place where people talk shite and expect those not on their level of earnings as nothing more than cash cows .Promise this ,explain later,and keep the masses living the never ending stories.
    No new training facilities for players to just expect as a League 1 club with ambition, not a club that on certain days the Sandstorm off the dunes and no hot water is a joke .Critchley aint getting money for players ,now this Chairman went to my old school of Warbreck if im right ,boyhood dream ,goes to Asia makes money but something aint adding up .There was a major stock crash 2 weeks ago on the Japanese stock exchanges and all we have are loanees who if they are recalled they go ,so a team of loanees will never bond ,its obvious to me we have got Oysten the Return, its Jackanory ,promises he had no intention of following through, i really hope im wrong but whats changed since that Applefart 😉 SFA

      I'm not impressed at the moment with the way the club is being run but in his defence he has improved Squires Gate one heck of a lot, the pitch looks incredible, the Morretti lounge is very nice, the plans for the new stand look great, he is putting in £5M of his money every season to prop us up but he isn't getting it right with the team, the style of football we are playing and fan engagement is at a very low point.
      Not impressed and bitterly disappointed at the moment

      Simon Sadler, the owner of Blackpool Football Club, is currently facing legal proceedings related to insider trading involving his hedge fund, Segantii Capital Management. As a result, Segantii is returning all funds to its investors.
      This situation might impact Sadler’s ability to use funds from Segantii for personal investments or purchases, including those related to Blackpool Football Club. However, the club has stated that its day-to-day operations will continue as usual and that Sadler will vigorously defend himself against the charges ,apparently!!!.

    • @AlicoB-y3d
      @AlicoB-y3d 5 місяців тому

      Segantii Capital Management, Simon Sadler’s company, is indeed facing significant financial and legal challenges. The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has commenced criminal proceedings against Segantii, Simon Sadler, and former trader Daniel La Rocca for insider dealing. As a result, Segantii is returning capital to investors, which indicates financial constraints due to the legal situation.
      While there haven’t been specific public statements about additional financial restraints on Simon Sadler’s personal funds, the ongoing legal proceedings and the decision to return nearly $1 billion to investors suggest a challenging financial environment for both him and his company.
      Now it's not a very good sign if you are allegedly paying back any investors in a Hedge fund that is like many other companies within the last month that have more or less crashed and I'm not egsaturating when I say many ,many millions are involved pending the forthcoming inquiry, but his investors are apparently being rerefunded before any legal challenges allegedly. I think he's a man of his word I really do and I hope we as a club have not been caught in any future Web,innocently or not ,worrying times .But forget ababove any 1 million plus signings remember Trevor Francis the first one ,ha laterz and then I awoke I got my Charlie Coffee beans in the machine and I found out it was all just a dream ,and coffee cartels where just a made up fairy story 😅lol ciao

      Lee his company is paying back millions due to possible financial irregularities and is on £100,000 bail had a court appearance in July .You surely don't payback to clients if all is good.But this happened after he aquired Blackpool FC .its allegedly off to the Hong Kong High Court. But it certainly isn't a time we will be investing any millions on players that's a guarantee at the present ,and all this is easy to find do your own research, that's one thing I will promote before we are blitzed with what happened with the JABEROOS, so we won't go there ,just remember that the mainstream media lie a lot ok @@LeeCharlesTV
