This was great! I've been a fan of windy for XC planning for a while now. To the point where people ask me frequently to show them how I use it. Now I can just send this to them. Also, FYI at 35:50 LIFR is not Light IFR, it's Low IFR. In the ranking of airport conditions it's the worst: VFR: Ceilings >3000 and vis >5 miles MVFR: Ceilings 1000-3000 and/or vis 3-5 miles IFR: Ceilings 500-1000 and/or vis 1-3 miles LIFR: Ceilings
Awesome presentation. I have been flying for 20 years in California and never needed to dig too deep into the weather. Now I live in Ottawa and was disappointed with the Canadian aviation weather tools and even worse since the US cut off all services at the boarder. This windy app is just what I needed. Thx for the 101 session.
Really helpful presentation!
Thanks for sharing the webinar!

Thanks for the feedback! I must have had a brain fart when I said Light IFR instead of Low IFR :P
Great presentation, Blake! Very informative.

Welcome to Canada :) You're not the only one disappointed with the Canadian aviation weather tools. They are in desperate need of updating.
