- Join me while I take a cruise to a lake beach close to my house. I am driving my 1776cc VW rail buggy (sand rail). My dad and I built this rail buggy a few years ago. There is still a lot more I plan on doing with it and I will video and upload all of it for you guys to see.

Pretty sweet ride man I bet that’s a ton of fun!! I want one so bad!
what size rear wheels and tires? thanks
This thing is wicked!!! Keep up the great content
What size tires are on the front, looks like motor cycle tires.
I’ll have to check for you when I get home. I honestly don’t remember
140-90-15 m/c 70H
Can they do 75 mph all day long
if not what's their best cruising speed
for a 1776 cc VW
I have a 3 rib bus transmission so mine is geared very low. I have gotten up to about 75 but that was absolute max. A beetle transmission would be way more ideal for road use….. I can run about 50 pretty conformably with the bus tranny.
@@brotherboost THANK YOU thinking about road trip
from East coast to West coast. in my Bucket list.
Did you build that?
Andrew Masterson yes
How far of a drive was it? N what’s the mileage on that
It was probably around 15 miles and idk how many miles I have on the build.
15 there and 15 back
Thank you I been doing research I wanted to do a sand rail build and if it was worth it.
@@kwameldean2552 yeah I think it’s worth it for sure. They are supper fun and you can take them anywhere. Always a favorite at car shows as well
Want to sell that?
