Jacob collier seems to have almost single handedly made the number of tracks in a song, relevant.

There is a sad truth about music... Our Lord and creator Jesus Christ, created us human beings in a way that we dont really like music nor we need it, on the contrary music is actually a torture instrument for the human soul.. Its demons that through our passions like the ambition, tempt us to deal with music. In life you dont have to prove anything to anyone and your talent is not coming with you in the grave. So repent of your sins and turn to the Lord.

What he talks about at around 39:40 is something I have been doing for quite a while now but couldn't explain on the guitar. Sometimes I tried to play songs that are on 7 string guitars and since I don't have one, I realized that if I play the upper two notes of a power chord it almost sounds the same as the full power chord. Finally some validation from a pro! :D

I was wondering how you pitch shifted your voice for high notes in this recording! The way you’ve done it, it sounds pleasant sort of like children, or “the girlies” like you pointed out. Funny that you did this just by changing logic’s speed, I wouldn’t think that that would net you such excellent results… you probably have a unique voice that’s quite conducive to this… it’s fun to compare pitch shifters (Melodyne tends to do a more natural job for my videos since it doesn’t alter the format in quite the same way)

Your antennae picked up on the subtle, uncomfortable exclusion in the phrase "from one to 92." As you say, it seems to uninvite those older to the party. If you were to re-visit the lyrics, consider "from one to their old age." It works rhythmically and sensibly, and seems unobtrusive enough to slip by without eliciting clucks in the chicken coop.

Hi Jacob. Beautiful stream. I hope I'm wrong, but if I'm right, I'm afraid I have some bad news for you. I hypothesize that the gradual lowering of your perfect pitch is most likely an effect of the slow natural aging of your ears, as the upper bound of your frequency perception slowly drops. Sucks to age doesn't it?
    Protect those precious ears, mate.
