Huge shout out to David for taking on this challenge! Although he wasn't able to break the record this time, it was still a truly incredible feat. Special thanks to the FAA, Orlando FSDO, and Miami Center for their help in making this all legal. Lastly, shout out to Jump Florida, Pascoal, Aviator Ppg, and Scott Lazarus for their help in making this possible. David will be back with proper gear to crush the record next time.

I was always told that if you jumped out of an aircraft with a paraglider the wing would explode.
I supose materuals and manufacture technique has gotten better since then.

@@gnomilius Yes but when I was doing it my instructor said that they would not stand up to the stress involved with instant inflation at high speed. Big difference to inflating gently on the ground and gracefully launching from a cliff.

@@mattgosling2657 I was told by my paragliding instructor that different cloth and stitching are used to save weight. Parachutes are a different beast, lot more robust because they have to withstand a huge amount of stress as they instantly inflate.

www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/ZS-BLU/815108 turns out the old girl has been around the world. Thing that caught my attention was the second jump inside the plane it still has ZS-BLU on it i knew i had seen this plane in action before all the way on the other side of the world. It was the first one of its kind in SA

Used to be the jumpship for Johannesburg Skydiving Club in Carletonville a few years ago, and fly the boogies in Jeffreys Bay over Dec. Amazing plane, did many jumps from her until she left our shores. Pretoria Skydiving Club now has the only PAC dropping skydivers in SA.

Just search paramotor, go to their sites like Avaiatoppg, click on store or products, click paramotor then the one that in the description says "electric start" and then click "add to cart" and you'll be waiting on FedX to arrive with your new toy!!!
Or eBay. Yep they have them also!
Enjoy! Mine is on the way! Just isn't the one I wanted. It'll come later!
