Reviews:
"This episode of Bonanza leaned very heavily toward comedy with Ian Wolfe and daughter Sue Ane Langdon coming to town. Ian breaks it to Sue Ane gently that he's kind of on the run because a very short tempered Harry Swoger wants to know where the $5000.00 that he invested with Wolfe has disappeared to. Not to worry because Sue Ane has interested two Cartwright brothers with raging hormones in her. She's sure that she can get them to help if Dan Blocker and Michael Landon will stop conning each other trying to impress Langdon.
At the same time Arnold Stang comes to town and back east he's a well known pickpocket and he cleans out a lot of valuables and identities of a few of principal players here. Pretty soon Swoger has many Gideon Flinches to choose from between Cartwright hormones, Langdon's charms, and Stang's work, Gideon Flinch being the character name of Wolfe.
You might notice that former Dead End kid Bobby Jordan plays one of the henchmen that Swoger has. Even young Ricky Kelman pulls a con or two aiding and abetting Little Joe against Hoss.
Functioning as a kind of befuddled Greek chorus is Burtin Mustin and Clem Bevans.
A really top flight cast makes this Bonanza episode most enjoyable." Written by bkoganbing on IMDb.com
"This is another great comic relief episodes! I especially like Joe Cartwright's facial expressions! My favorite scene is when Joe accuses Jennifer of taking his wallet.
Its in episodes like this when we see brother against brother. Adam and Ben's uncaring episode of the boys' escapades just makes the episode that much more funny. Add to that the sheriff, deputy, and other townspeople who are usually caught in intense tear-jerking that makes the viewer breathe a deep sigh of relief.
This was another great one for the writer's! This light-hearted episodes mixed in with the heavy episode are what keep Bonanza great after all these years." Written by mitchrmp on IMDb.com

Action, drama and comedy. Bonanza had it all over the years.
Little Joe gets the most comical expressions on his face.....and Sheriff Roy Coffee is great
5:51 The way he begged "Wait!" and put himself in the horse trough. Only Hoss can give that impression. What a show 😄
OMG her voice goes right through my head …. Screeeeeeetch -
That voice and her dimples made me instantly recognize her as the aunt in UHF.
No kidding. Like fingernails on a chalkboard.
You're right!!!
Great show great cast and no commercials. I must have died and went to Heaven.
😁🙏
Those two old guys remind me of the old guys in the balcony on the muppet show
Statler and Waldorf?? 😆😆😆😆😄Yeah, you're right.👍
Yup that's a better allusiin.
Perfect. Ha, ha!!
I love that analogy
😂😂
I'll say . 😆
That hat Jennifer wears is a real asset to her comedic act.
whatever
Loved way women dressed back than still watch bonzana on UA-cam
I also loved the way the way the women dressed, and the woods that were used to make the furniture.
I enjoyed watching this episode.
Joe and Hoss sure made us 😀.
Directed by the great Robert Altman in a comic vein, this is a first class episode that even has Adam show up playing draughts with Ben for the whole of about 30 seconds. Super fun, thanks for sharing
Poor horses, they have to drink that water! And her 'Southern' accent makes me flinch!
I love to watch this episode about hoss and little joe
Those two guys sitting outside of the General Store, I feel like I just watched the Inception of Jay and Silent Bob.
This episode is in my top 3 of all-time favorite Bonanza shows. Very well written, with great actors playing each part and it's still funny after watching it when it aired all those years ago (we only had a black and white TV back in those days (I believe Bonanza was one of the first color TV shows). I was thrilled to find it and thank you for posting it.
I like the Bonanzas with humor best. 🙂
Me too. The other ones can be really scary. I prefer the humorous stuff.
-this is like Love Boat or Charlie's Angels....lol.
I like all the episodes. Never boring. Good story lines.
Me, too. They were naturally funny and talented and worked together well. For the entire run
“Let me tell you something, Mr. Cartwheel.” Lol
That was great. Sometimes you need a picker upper like this to watch. Thanks for posting!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching! 🤠✌🍿🎬
Hoss got the girl this time...but the Cartwright curse still got him in 73 when he lost his life saving his wife from drowning. I was just turning 5 when we lost (Dan "Hoss Cartwright" Blocker).
Dekalb,Texas is lucky to have had the ten pound Dan It's also his final resting place.I feel like Hoss is Family to me.
I live in Arizona near mesa where Lorne Green, "Ben Cartwright" lived in a replica ponderosa home just inside Mesa, Arizona. Dan,Lorne,Pernell And Michael memory will always live on in Bonanza.
Missed the episode about Hoss. Sweet gentle strong kind loving Man.
One of the funniest episodes in the series!♥️🤣
Mr. cart wheel 😂🤣
Cartwright..... Cartwright 😀😃
Ive been a fan since the series first began and i gotta say this is one of the best episodes in all of its years of running time.
Great to hear that, thanks for watching on here! 🤠👌🎬🍿
I really enjoy the comedic episodes. When everyone was in the cabin, all Jake the weasel had to do was eat one of the pickled eggs. That would clear the room out fast.
Glad you enjoyed! Check out this series as well: ua-cam.com/video/UZK95XIhS_g/v-deo.html
You THINK you are funny.
I love Little Joe!! Post more about little Joe please!
Joe's gorgeous and darling, but he was a real arsehole in this one. He assumed she'd stolen his wallet with absolutely no proof and manhandled her across the street. She should have swatted him! I'm a great Joe fan and only watch this for him, but just saying.
Friging awesome 👌👏 I love all
God bless you reexposing the past 🙏
Glad you liked it, thanks for watching! 🤠👌🎬🍿
Wonderful to see, thank you! I remember watching each week on TV!
Our pleasure! Thanks for tuning in! 🤠👌🎬
I LOVE SO MUCH THE BONANZA..
LOVE TOO ADAN, JOE, BEM, ROSS AND PONDEROSA...
FAN DO RIO DE JANEIRO BRAZIL
Yes, she played in Elvis Presley's Frankie and Johnny, same voices only constantly drunk. And funny.
Ah - Comedia del Arte comes to Virginia City! Brilliantly done.
Comedy through and through like a stage play with a crazy Jen Flinch character
Jake the Weasel - great character! Hope to see him in more episodes!
Butterflies in the stomach gets Joe every time.
That was one of my favorite episodes....
Glad to hear that. Thank you for watching😃😃
heres one with somebody really worked overtime on the great orchestration of a real interesting music score
Bullithead and 1 of his henchmen were gangsters on the untouchables a few times.bullithead was also the bartender on bonanza for awhile
LOVE this episode!
Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Lovely n exciting, very funny🤣🤣 👍👌🤩🤩🤩😍🥰😘❤❤
Those two old men remind me of those old Muppets named Statler and Waldorf 😂
Thanks for uploading
Burt Mustin played a regular role in "The Andy Griffith Show."
The comedy Bonanza are the Best 😃🇺🇸
Bobby jordan "dead end kid" bit part.
Died only a few years later.
How did he die? That's my dad's name
He passed from cirrhosis of the liver. Age 42.
Bobby Jordan at 26:12.
That gal has such a different unique voice!😊
47:17 - I love the two senior citizens! ❤
Bam Bam get em Hoss!
I Love Hoss!!!
I love him too. He's the best!
The girl in this reminds one of Debbie Reynolds
Not in the way she looks, but in the way she acts!
Also the ladies hair was skilfully done.
In the beginning, the stage coach wagons back wheel stopped moving before the carriage stopped! 😊😅
Burtin Mustin the old man on the right started acting when he was 67 in 1951 and last acted in 1975, he was 92.
the two old men reminded me of Statler and Waldorf watching everyone go by.
His character probably fought in the Revolutionary War.
Min. 34:38 - see the Bible on the table ? Well, those times are gone, no more Bible in the movies.
Hey! its Arnold Stang (A.K.A. Jake the Weasel) (A.K.A. Top Cat) from the 1961 cartoon series Top Cat.
Thank you. I recognized that voice as well.
The one thing that turned me off the way the Little Joe character was written was how he always pissed away his manhood the second he saw a skirt.
I thought I was the only one so critically uptight, it’s a relief!
@@joankersting2358 😁
and where do you leave the blosasos that he gave you
His character at the start was only 17.
@@didirosie3226 I reckon on how that could explain it. Although he was around 23 in 1959, I never heard the characters age having ever mentioned. I only saw maybe 15 episodes all together. My time was more .... what the hell was the TV series where he was an angel. It'll come to me in an hour or so. Touched by an Angle?
Louis Vuitton the luggage of choice 🙂 or the prop of choice🙂
He really was Jake the weasel
Happy Wedding Anniversary
Nice comedy. Thanks a lot for uploading and sharing.
Best regards, luck and health.
‘Mr. Cartwheel”
"Mr Cartwheel" 🤣🤣🤣
Hoss & Little Joe Cartwright always getting into trouble 😵💫 with their 2 Female Bellydancing 👑 Queens of The Pondersa Ranch who are Cassandra Fox & Alia Mohammed.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It is an absolute crime that these two didn't get married.
that was a common theme through out the series. Every time one of the cartwrights got involved with a girl the relationship didn't work out. They broke, up wife died something along those lines. I think the show producers just did not want married characters.
@@zacharybowen4247 The writers didn't want married Cartwright.
One of the reasons Pernell left when his contract was up.
@@zacharybowen4247 It's true. And one reason Pernell left the show.
That sure was great
Who's that kid.
Great bit. 👍👍👍
"I'm Jake the Weasel, I'm Joe Cartwright.." always cracks me up.
Saudações do Brasil que AMA Bonanza. ❤🇧🇷👋
I agree 🙌🇺🇸
Hello 👋 from Chicago 🙏

Mr Cartwheel 😆😆😆😆
I love Joe to bits, but if I'd been Jennifer I'd have slapped him round the face for manhandling me like that. He's lucky she didn't!
and where do you leave the blosasos that he gave you
@@anacordoba5042 Pardon?
Time travelling Peewee Herman
Thanks!
Love Bonanza and the Cartwrights, the supporting cast were great to but watching all the episodes up to now, it gets me annoyed sometimes that all the women that try to deceive the Cartwrights or are involved in plots to ruin or kill them never face any consequences. In this episode Jennifer was willing to let an innocent man get beaten up or killed by lying and tricking him and still both Hoss and little Joe taught it was ok for her to do it.
Probably the first time water hit those two guys in months
Finally , the lovely lady has made her choice as she wins her date with Hoss . That serves Little Joe the right ... especially as she addressed him as Cartwheel instead of Cartwright .
😂
27:37 The guy on the left playing checkers looks up when Coffee says something and the guy sneaking out of jail is RIGHT in his line of sight, but he doesn't see him? Did that barrel of water have special "invisibility water" in it?
Yes. That’s the joke. The guy on the left is a prisoner. (Probably a fellow thief.) Professional courtesy.
@@jamesngetha6760 Oh yea I think you're right. The escaping guy even gives him a hat nod. I forgot the guy playing checkers was a prisoner, thanks.
Hunter Goodman can’t Just Hardly Waits Again it’s out of Business, Very Soon It Is.👍
The lady Jennifer Finch has a lousy mouth the way she addressed the two drunks when they extended a kind greetings to her. She addressed Little Joe Cartwright as Cartwheel.
little joe got wood
My Little Joe is always the best and handsomest!!!❤❤
THAT ONE WILD GIRL REMINDS ME OF CANDY FROM HERE COME THE BRIDES
When I saw the name Arnold Stang, the first thing that popped into my head was Top Cat. Why? Because I had only recently subscribed to Boomerang through Amazon Prime Video in order to watch episodes of a cartoon show called Top Cat where Stang supplied the voice of the title character and did a fabulous (to me) job. When the series was brought back, a different actor supplied TC's voice and did a lousy (to me) job. It will be fun seeing Stang as a person.
I'm Gideon Flinch and so's my cat
His name was Burtin Mustin!
I fucking love Jen!! She's like me!!
Family show and you can't make a comment without resorting to degrading language. I'm sure you can express yourself better.😉
@@user-pd7il3xz5j Seems to be the language of this generation. Shouldn't bother you to much as most families including children now use such vile vocabulary. This society is sadly decaying.😞
@@wiseguymaybe The fact that some children are resorting to foul speech does bother me.
Only humans are given the true ability of speech, amongst other attributes, so why not choose to elevate those gifts. For the most part, the children (and adults) in my community are not inclined to use foul language.
@@user-pd7il3xz5j That is really good to know. Your community is truly very rare. Most the world, not so much.
@@user-pd7il3xz5j I agree.
Elly Mae in Virginia City.😁
Looks like they got a bit of inspiration from Laurel and Hardy’s “Tit for Tat” movie 1935….the weasel and his sneaky gentry thieving.
23:45 They just have the dirtiest floors in the world. He just touched his hand to the floor for a few seconds and it's enough to make his face covered with dirt. And as if even Hoss would believe when there are no kids on the Ponderosa that one ran out from there to Virginia city to deliver a message that it's burning.
Thanks for watching! We also recommend this movie: ua-cam.com/video/DMR5uxBuajI/v-deo.html
@@GrjngoWesternSeries Thanks for upload all of these great shows!
What's the Bank President from a few episodes ago doing working as the hotel clerk. My Favorite Martian . . .
Too silly for me.
This episode makes the character of Little Joe look and act like a moral weakling and a sniveling coward.
And he wasn't that way of course. My Little Joe was the bravest and tender of the Cartwright boys!!!❤❤❤
I agree to sensitive and very ungrateful 😤
is there anymore comedy ones? thanks

Well... They tried. One weak episode. Little Joe was written way out of character. In the show he and the Cartwright family are powerful males, with mettle in a crisis. Here, Joe is a silly, weak man--whoa out of character. The episode is saved by Sue Ane Langdon and Arnold Stang. And they are credited at the intro. Stang was an amazing actor--even in lame productions he was stellar. I always loved the work of Joe Turkel. Here he has a very minor role (unrelated: Turkel is a Leftist like me. There were several Leftists in the Bonanza production).
Good suff, so sad , Horss never gets laid .
Why bonanza hire little girls to play in the series??? They look like teenagers.
That wasn't a very young actress - just playing a role of neice.
