I totally disagree with what she said about monogamous ppl being depressed and jealous like wtf? I have lived around monogamous ppl my whole life(including my parents) and my parents are still very much in love(after 25 yrs of marriage) and are very happy together and I've seen that happiness and love in their eyes and their smile everytime they hug/be playful with each other❤...and their love and faithfulness to each other is what has given me the best and the most secure environment to grow up in❤🤗
Honestly, her opinion is bullshit. The lack of communication and mutual respect is what is a challenge in our relationships, and these things require constant work. Having multiple sexual partners, in no way can make someone happy for a long time.

I'm a 20 years old guy, I have seen my parents in good and bad times. I am damn sure such problems are not even exist between them. Sexuality occupies very very little part of our life. It is only important for giving a birth of a healthy (physically, mentally, emotionally, socially) baby. Sexuality is very much changeable phenomenon. Sometimes you are feeling horney sometimes your are not. You can't extinguish fire using dry woods in fire. You are not overcoming sexual desire practicing polygamy rather for some cheap thrills you are creating a mental barrier. Do some bhakti. Read Upanishads, Bhagwat Gita and you will overcome lust and greed.

In a way she is right. Being locked with a single person can bring jealousy if u look at some another person. For example, u have a single wife, u may feel jealous if u look at ur friend having a prettier wife. Polyamoury can help diverting u from that jealousy feeling, as now u can have multiple options. Even if it doesnt eliminate jealousy, it may certainly reduce it. Your wife/husband can give the emotional support that u need, and your multiple partners can help in satisfying ur sexual needs, which may not be fulfilled solely by ur wife/husband.

I really understand her issues with monogamy, but i personally feel that intimate relationships with many people (either simultaneous or otherwise) sounds too cumbersome. At this point in history, the ideal way to raise children is to have two loving parents committed to each other and to the children. It’s great if there are grandparents and/ other family to help.
