Worth noting the reactions towards the end, first the usual frustration at the team and RNG all the way until 20:17, followed by actual analysis of things that could have been done different. That last component of self reflection is incredibly important for improving as a player, and it's something I also struggle with at times. Tbf that Zao captain played the game as best he could have in that scenario. Against a literal pro like Flamu not sure many of us could have clutched that out - RNG aside ofc
Honestly, I enjoy this kind of content alot. Seeing players much better than me not only going through their thoughts while playing but also reflecting on situation/win condition awareness will definitely help my future destroyer cancer. Especially if its a loss as that's where the lessons exist. To "LOSE" is to be provided a "Learning Opportunity, Swiftly Engaged"
Outcome aside that is the kind of 1v1 that I live for. That moment when the match is on the line and your heart is racing, win or lose, it's exciting and I love that. I also like the self reflection and admission of mistakes. Even the pros slip up and its nice to see that from time to time. Good stuff flolo
I absolutely adore you for putting such battle out. Well played, misjudged in the and, wasn´t overly toxic, learned the lesson, accepted he could have won would he do things differently, moving on. This is top quality content, not just cherry picked best battles of the day. Thanks, Flamu
Late to the video but damn that dunning-kreuger trash talk from that 48(45.6)%r was cringe, actually made me physically angry and is one of the major reasons I stopped playing, the other being CV rework ofc. Otherwise great video, super tense show down with the Zao and you were for sure robbed by the gap.
I have so many games where the loud mouth kill stealing trash talker somehow does f*ck all, all game other than steal kills and somehow gets more XP for the game than I do when I am capping, and spotting, and we end up losing because I cannot carry 5 village idiots against decent players on their team.
Always love ranked. Literally this morning I had a bronze match where our Atlanta died early for getting caught out of position, and he was cussing at me and someone else for "not fighting" when sailing into the middle at Channel is a death sentence when you have cruisers up north and BBs to the east. We still won without him.
He might have made a few mistakes, but Zao played prettys smart. Not the biggest powerhouse ship, so was really quite good compared to everyone else on his team.
I used to play all four classes pretty equally. At some point after the carrier rework I realised I was beginning to hate grinding for ships I didn't care about and that I just wanted to have fun with my 20 something tier 10s. I don't touch carriers, hybrids, or subs, and now I main Shimakaze 😂
what are u expecting Bourgogne who has played more 17k games but his PR only 677 to play ranked battle ? i even think he rent some good player help him to reach high rank for earning more steel.
How to get 500k spotting damage? Play 4 games on Shima. I did it yesterday. But that video is something different and shows skill difference. I would never shoot Zao/Marceau and probably I would die instantly after doing that.
i play both WoWs and WoTs, and the players are all the same, they do nothing to help unless they see the HP bar below like 5-10% then they shoot and act like they helped then die and chat spam but i will say typing back instead of just ignoring them is just as stupid as its just instigating them to continue, these players are scummier then cheaters imo.

Zao beats Flamu. OP ship confirmed. No buffs required.
HP pool just right to both make every match thrilling and survive the most arduous of fights.
Heal buffs change the game massively.

Zao confirmed to have just enough hp. Perfectly balanced 👌

return of the greed guy

Good stuff flolo
That chat conversation was wild. Someone thinking current AA was actually effective...
What a heart break ..
That Gap was awful lmao

Flolo forgot his morning prayer to the almighty RNGesus. Or Zao was just better /s.
Sad ending, you were absolutely dominating these players. Your team didn't deserve a win but I don't think the enemy team did either.

We still won without him.
Glad you did. It’s still excellent gameplay and valuable to watch/learn from imo

Bad luck dude, really well played
Ahh, alkways loved your Shima games, allways a special treat. :)
WOW great game with shima!
i am glad you put it on youtube maybe we all can learn something from that
Thats why I always use the F3 torps! And still hate the legendary shima gaps!
what a F###ing game! sucks to lose but man it's been years since i've seen such a tense game.
Anyone else missing Terry Davis a little extra today?

Hey Flamu do you know if this ship still lurking in super containers
Al shima gonna go crazy
TY 🙏🙏

I would have also tried to kill him with guns in the end. And you got Zao shells which are not that easy to dodge.

Sometime I was the only survival and I can end the game in a win but I throw it away because I don't want the others monkey to get into higher rank.
Zao OP, pls nerf this busted ship already wg🤯
does Illinois have shit guns or good guns?
sometimes u lose and sometimes the other team wins
Uy
No 1 rule of EU. Chat is mostly for thrash talking. 90% of the time players will spam useless stuff
Why does WG nerf ships when they already Nerf players
He wasn't lucky he was better.
anyone that has a below 50% WR should not be allowed to talk
fuck!
Such torping skills, ALONE are bots clan.
Yeah fuck this game.
nerf zao
Yea but you lost because you have one kill not 2 like Bourgogne. Clear skill difference between you two players.
Kills doesn't equate to skill. I've seen round where even I've had 5 kills for 40k damage lol. Stop being silly.

Thats Why i yolo and just Go Next Match in a 1v1
that bourgnone is one uahahah
The stat shaming is stupid. Good game otherwise.
wtf You talking about? stat shaming is only reason there are still some people left in these game :P
