It was amazing when Carmen shared with me at Stanford Jazz Festival 2024, that this song was written thanks to the inspirations she had during her trip to Hawaii!! Honolulu has always been a place of musical inspiration for me given its unique spiritual charm in terms of healing our body, heart, and soul. And that was what inspired me to develop my music identity through this project called "Honolulu Mailman", to collect authentic voice and sound from all over the world, and deliver them back to the world, like a mailman".
