Street food looks way more yummy probably cause it's fresh of the grill
Looks delicious 👍🏻. A lot of eggs.
I’m watching this in the middle of the night because during the day I’m working.
It may not be okonomiyaki but it still looks like it tastes good!

This Dude could put LeBron to shame on that one hand egg shell toss. Beautiful cooking vid! He's so neat and clean and just a work of art.
3 am in the morning and here i am watching food again 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Nice video *super !*
Well - whatever the name, this is done with practiced skill and patience! I like that it has vegetable in it!
In Sweden we make a similar one, pancake batter with shredded potatoes.👍😋
Looks delicious
cabbage and egg mmm mmmmm
i'm watching this at midnight and i'm hungryyy really really hungryyyy :(
This is not okonomiyaki, but I've tried this hundred times. It's delicious though. The chef is from Japan. Maybe he adjusts the recipe to fit Taiwanese taste.
I am so hungry now!!!!!
now I really want one!
No matter what it is, how you spell it, nor how you pronounce it...It looks positively delicious.
I've never seen Okonomiyaki made like this. I bet it's oishii!!
Greatness
What is the batter made of
I thought this said funniest haha, I just turned 49 and I need to deal with reality and get glasses 🤓👀👓🙈
Missy Mayes I did too and I wear glasses! 😎
I saw this food at taiwan night market..!!
Hmmm yam
Can i substitute those cabbage with ... Mashed potatoes, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms n bacon please. Arigato
look good
Bisa di contoh..di indonesia..
super
Could somebody write the recipe here? I would like to try that at home.
What is this
I've never seen OKONOMIYA like this in Japan, but I guess it's a their version of one!(^^). To me, it looked more like a OMELETTE, as they have put so much eggs...but finish product looked like a pizza!(^^) I think it's like Japanese people taking the foreign food & alternate it to their likings. In ITALY, you don't see "NAPOLITAN" seasoned with a ketchup, etc... There are no such a thing like NATTO....MENTAIKO SPAGHETTI!(^^) Probably every country does that, so I'll eat their version....as long as it tastes good!(^^).
Would like to know ingredients.
I wish they had used free range fresh eggs because those yolks a very pale yellow. I like a bright orange yellow one that looks reddish
That looks so good...except that they’re contaminating the cooked with the uncooked the way that they’re doing it
Pancake batter, cabbage, pancake batter, and eggs. There's supposed to be other ingredients right?
I'd like Salmonella for the win Alex, ugh!
celeryg66 you can eat raw eggs in Japan without risk of salmonella. It's not the same between countries.
Where can you find cooking scrapers like they use here?
Japan please!
yeh yeh yeh
Jurig dararia aing lafar
Eat PHOnomenal. Stay hungry my friends!
Watching yummy little videos like this makes me want to travel the world just for tasting street food!!! Does the Travel Channel have any openings??? =)
Great Video!
great video ko ko ko
This is not OKONOMIYAKI.
That's all.
kero039 Lol, I thought it seems different from the one I know.
it can be called OKONOMIYAKI... because OKONOMI means "how you like" or "what you like" & YAKI means "grill"
same opinion this is not OKONOMIYAKI at all
My wife and I make Okonomiyaki all the time, this is not Okonomiyaki. This is a cabbage omelet with other crap thrown on top of it.
Yup. Nope..
Cabbage omlette
this vodeo is in Taiwan
I have witness many chefs cook good food in sloppy ways hence, not every bit is the same. This chef skills are exceptional when preparing a dish. I bet every bit taste the same.
This is something that mimics the okonomiyaki rather than the okonomiyaki
what are the condiments added at the end?
TAIWAN?
Is that a pancake mix, whole lot of cabbage, and eggs?
This is not Okonomiyaki, but this seems to be tasty.
This is in Taiwan. i heard Taiwanese accent.
I think this is okonomiyaki with another version, Without seafood without okonomiyaki souce.. HAHAHAHA
These sentences are LINE translation. Therefore a sentence may be different.
This food isn't OKONOMIYAKI.
The word heard with this video isn't Japanese.
Why didn't he flip the ones near the handles?
In taiwan
Looks good, but seems more like an omelette than okonomiyaki.
I am Japanese.
This is not okonomiyaki.
tostool true
What is it called?
Please image the crepe.
Crape rolls the ingredients on the baked cloth and winds it.
Okonomiyaki is baked with meat and seafood mixed.
And, it is bonito, sauce, mayonnaise etc that you can put on after baking.
Fake okonomiyaki.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okonomiyaki
tostool I am okonomiyaki
Japanese people said this ain't it! lol... So now what?
WHY AM I Watching this in the MIDDLE of the night????..?..
Hhmmm yummy, Kayak martabak telor ya....
street world food kood kood kood
I prefer to watch these videos than some guy yapping or playing video games.
Yummy
He cracked the eggs with his left hand...this means WAR!!
Why? I’m a lefty. Nothing wrong with that! Humans use the opposite sides of their brains...hence, ‘Lefties are the only ones in their right mind’! 😆😉
What I want to know is, was scrambled egg mixture put down first, then cabbage, then more scrambled egg mixture and THEN MORE whole eggs on top? Eeeek. That’s a lot of eggs! But, the omelets do look yummy!!!
@@shejean silly Lilliputian...
It looks like Kukelics
it is not in Japan
What is in that batter that keeps it from burning? The griddle must not be on a low setting...this just fascinates me! It looks so good!
You must show the people eating the food! Otherwise it's not cool!
He uses those tools to move the already made egg dishes whilst mixing a batch 'okonomiyaki'.. talk about contamination of raw and cooked foods
Arjun in Japan you can safely eat raw eggs. Not the same quality /standard for all countries.
I realize that eggs are of high quality since they are fed a much more healthy diet than elsewhere.. HOWEVER, bacteria spreads equally on all meats regardless of quality (their not picky like that). You NEVER use the same tool to touch both raw and cooked ingredients since the cooked ingredients dont get heated again.
Having said that, I eat from stalls similar to that as well, as long as you use ingredients that are relatively healthy (like eggs in Japan), it doesnt cause much harm (also, your body develops a better immune system the more consistently you consume from places like this). Foreign visitors however, may get sick since their bodies are not used to the level of bacteria in the foods regionally. Saying this from experience since my uncle got terribly sick eating foods like this whilst in Japan.

Fluffiest Okonomiyaki EVER
Okonomi..? Is that mean economy version..?
Just asked..sorry..
They eat a lot of eggs over there. I'm surprised.
I was annoyed when scrap some bits from outside that pan and ... dropped everything on top of cooking....yeak
not in Japan.
Taiwan.
