I've been loving this man's music for 50 years and it never fails to bring emotions up out of my soul. If I were a singer or a musician, I would just have to put down my instrument and shut my mouth. How do you compete with talent like this?
Just known as Van the Man here in Ireland, man is a legend here since the 60's and still going strong, my favourites of his are Have I Told You Lately and Days Like This ( which became an anthem for the peace process), but he has such a huge back catalogue you could dip in and out anywhere.
Really wonderful!!! so few people know Van beyond "Brown eyed Girl" so it's great to see a "deep" cut. After this, please, just for your own life, listen to the album "Astral Weeks." Years ago, I went through a really bad time and that album saved my life. Enjoy!!!
Thanks that was a great reaction. Good to see you appreciating the music so much. Van Morrison was the writer of the song. Had a powerful impact on me as well, this was from 1972.
Sir George Van Morrison is an immensely acclaimed vocalist, receiving a plethora of awards including an OBE, honorary doctorates, lifetime achievement, civil awards, etc.⚡ Wonderful reaction Enoma 🌾 Caledonia was the ancient times Roman word for Scotland/N.Britain🌱
Wish I could afford to be a Patron want you to react to "and the healing has begun" from Into the Music If there are 10 musical genius's from Mozart to Beethoven Van is one of them
