@@georgedublin No problems getting VISA. We existed plane, got in the VISA line, paid our fee. Then we walked through customs. I carried a USA passport. My partner carried a MEXICAN passport. An under cover customs officer did stop my partner to ask "Do you smoke?" At first, I was assertive. "Who are you to ask this question?". We were taken aback by that weird question. We are both over 60 and have NEVER smoked. So we both said "no". I don't know if he wanted a cigarette? It was weird. Egypt is weird! But the ruins are awesome and totally worth the disorganization and strange government policies.
Thanks, Gisselle, I will be there on Monday. It was not possible to book a flight on the ultra lights on the Giza plateau. But I saw your video on the Meidum Pyramid and the Mastaba, I will go there too. Thanks again for your video's full of info.
Wow, HELL YEAH you just made my week! What a badass, thank you so much!!! 🙏 Greetings from Cairo 😅 If you ever have any questions don't hesitate to reach out 😎
Thank you! And in case you are arriving into Cairo International, I also explain where to catch an Uber in this video (along with other useful information like what neighborhoods are nice to stay in, etc.): ua-cam.com/video/Il6pZFgyl_I/v-deo.html Or if you are arriving into the Sphinx International Airport, I also recently made this video: ua-cam.com/video/Mh1_cQBukEw/v-deo.html Welcome to Egypt! ☺️🇪🇬
what an invaluable service you provide, clearly out of your love for the country. I will be in egypt soon and have found your videos to be extremely informative! My great great grandmother was born in alexandria and Im so excited to visit her country. Its pretty funny, ive had like 6 galabeyas made and plan to dress in the Saidi (north) fashion. I cant wait!!!
@@Gventures Yes, first time in egypt though I have been to Morocco, and Tunisia. In re family (who are in Alexandria and whom I dont know well) since I am heading south of Cairo (luxor aswan, etc) , I may not get chance to see my north egyptian relatives on this trip. I have a second trip planned for October and hope to meet up with them then. I just called up t-mobile and had them give me international coverage. I saw your video on the sim card and due to my good standing with t-mobile, I pretty much got unlimited data while in egypt, with calls costing only $.25 cents. I primarily wanted the service for Uber. Cant wait to see The Cave Church, Zamalek, Old Cairo, Saqqara (which I hear ppl underestimate) and a few other spots before heading down to Luxor. Thanks for the valuable asset that is your page.
@@JanusJeffrey Awesome, sounds like you have it all planned out! And nice that you are making two trips out of it, there's always so much to see, and especially if you want to meet and spend time with family, better to make sections out of it. Thanks for you support 🥰🙏
Thanks man! Yeah I've actually been back in Cairo for over a month now, but I still had some videos about Bali to upload and then got busy with work and stuff here in Egypt. But I'm back! Feels good 😎
Highly informative as always. I've gotten visa already and a one way ticket to Cairo, hope I'll not be having any problem with immigration without a return ticket. Thank you
I came with a one way ticket and didn't have a problem. You shouldn't either 👍 If you're really concerned about it, there's always that website bestonwardticket 😅
For Canadian citizens, VOA/E-visa was no longer available since last October. If you're Canadian and want to enter Egypt, you will need to apply for a visa at an embassy or consulate before your travel date.
Yes, that is why I don't mention Canadians as able to get a visa on arrival in this video. I also mention how Canadians are NOT able to get a visa on arrival in this video which I uploaded 2 weeks after making the Egypt visa on arrival video. ua-cam.com/video/Il6pZFgyl_I/v-deo.html
Let me update you on my travel experience to Egypt. As GCC residents, my husband and I traveled to Egypt. Presenting our residency permits (iqama), we smoothly navigated through the visa process. Without sticker visas, we traveled after they saw our exit stamp from Saudi Arabia. However, it's worth noting the airline's requirement for a visa. To meet this requirement, we obtained an e-visa from atyls, saving us $25
How did obtaining a visa from Atlys save you $25, you still have to pay Atlys so either way you are spending money. Also, you say it's worth noting the airline's requirement for a visa. So what airline was that then?
No, we have only paid 2000 INR to Atlys, which means we have saved 2000 INR by not purchasing a sticker visa. Previously, EgyptAirways stated that Visa on Arrival (VOA) is available for GCC residents, but since we traveled via Air Arabia, we presented our e-visa to them. Otherwise, EgyptAirways only requires ticket verification; they do not need the e-visa.@@Gventures
Nice professional clear explanation on the youtube videos superb! i am Irish passport holder though originally from India i believe i can board flight to Amman just without any visa and get the visa on arrival should not be rejected thanks
According to the immigration officer who attached my 25$ Visa (Sharm) in my passport 3 days ago told me that you can overstay 2 weeks without paying a fine. After this the fine would be 100EGP per day. So in practice you can stay 6 weeks.
Yes there is a 14 day grace period. However I didn't want to include that in the video, as I don't know if that will exist forever. They started that practice when COVID happened, and I'm glad it's still in effect, but if things were to ever change I don't want people to have the wrong information. Nice of that immigration officer to tell you that though 😄😎
Yes, as long as neither of them are Arab nationals. If one of them is an Arab national (countries like Jordan or Saudi Arabia-and of course Egypt-, as examples) and the other is a non-Arab national (France, US, etc.) and they are not married (with documents to prove it), they will not be able to get a hotel room together. If two Arab nationals are not married, they will also not be able to get a hotel room together. Egypt's laws.
@@Modestfashionwithshumayla That's awesome! Thank you for letting me know that. Now I have an answer if anybody asks, or maybe they will even see your comment ❤👍
amazing video, i plan to spend some time in egypt soon like roughly 6 months and i’m having such a hard time finding housing. All the bigger names hostels don’t have accommodations for how long i’m staying for so at this point i might just do an air bnb and tips from people who dealt with this??
Hmm. Most people that stay in hostels for 6 months or more don't stay in the same one the entire time, they move around to different hostels depending on availability. You could book for a month and then halfway through that month ask to book another month in advance, and ask for a discount because you are staying longer. Then just keep doing that. Otherwise, yes Airbnb is the other option.
They should be able to give you change. But honestly, if it's not a problem for you to get a $20 and a $5 note, I would do that, because you just never know. Also, make sure the bills are crisp and in good condition. They may not accept worn, old notes and probably would not accept notes with rips or tears.
Thank you , very clear and informative . I’m going soon and have issues with the e visa website , so I’m thinking of (or must be ) getting visa at the airport . Do airlines always allow us on to the flight since we don’t have the visa yet ? Thanks!
Thanks Veronica! 🥰 As long as your nationality is eligible for a visa on arrival and the airline doesn't have any requirements to have a visa before you can get on a flight (which they shouldn't, especially if you're eligible for a visa on arrival), you'll be fine 😎
Thanks for sharing. I plan to visit Egypt I wish to know how to get the documents I need to show the immigration in my country like okay to board and entry permit.
Hie dear, thank you for your informative videos about Egypt. I just want more clarification on African passport holders who have a uk 🇬🇧 visa. I have a Zimbabwean passport but I’m currently working in uk on skilled worker visa. Can I get a visa on arrival as well or I have to apply prior my arrival to Egypt . You only did a video about EU countries. Many of us Africans in eu countries want to come but we kind of hesitant because there’s no much information. I would be obliged to get an answer from you . A video is gud as well for other people ❤️🙏
Thank you so much, I really appreciate you watching, and I really wish I had an answer for you. But unfortunately, it does seem to get very complicated very quickly. I've had the same questions you are asking now from many different nationalities. People from Middle Eastern countries but with some type of visa from Europe have asked this question, as well as people from India, other parts of Asia, etc. I honestly can't research each continent and every country and make a video that has an answer for everybody, and even if I somehow did manage to do that, I would be getting my information the same way anyone else can - by doing some heavy research on the internet. It is exhausting work and I'm not even sure if I trust the information on the internet which I would put into a video, which is another reason why I haven't made a lengthy video about it that answers every single country's citizens questions. I made a video about the visa on arrival for countries that I am sure can get one (including my own as a US citizen), but I don't want to make a video with incorrect information, hence I haven't and don't plan on making another one for the many other nationalities that exist around the world. I'm very sorry I cannot honor your request, but I do wish you the best of luck.
Yes you can use your US bank. But you might be paying a lot of fees to withdraw money from your US account, so I hope you have a good bank that doesn't charge you a lot for international transactions! And not all ATM's may accept your card, so you might have to try several different ATM's sometimes.
Thank you for your informative video, I have one question on visa on arrival, if we are flying to Hurghada staying there for 10 days then flying on to Cairo staying there for 2 days before going home, does the visa on arrival cover both destinations or do we need to get a second one or do we need to tell them before, also we are from the UK is that on the list currently for VoA
Thank you so much for this video! Is it also possible to get your Visa at night? I will arrive at Cairo International Airport at 2:45AM, on the 11th of September.
Yes you can get your visa on arrival at any time, in the middle of the day or the middle of the night 👍 I recently flew into Sphinx Airport in Giza at 3am and got my visa on arrival there (which is a smaller airport), for sure Cairo Intl. always has it available as well.
@@Yelena_05 Haha, yeah embassies are a real pain in the ass. But as long as your nationality is eligible for visa on arrival, you won't have a problem getting it when you arrive. They have to be open and available for people arriving at all hours, since visa on arrival is available for many nationalities.
Any idea about residents of the UK that only have residency Ids (BRP) and Yemeni passports? I'm only asking here due to the 3 weeks non-responsive Egyptian consulate in London! Thank you!
I actually finally got a tutor! 🤩 After nearly 2 years of just trying to pick it up on my own I decided I haven't learned much and need someone to instruct me and guide me 😆 I'm happy about it!
Hello, would be helpful if you could please guide if visa on arrival is available for India passport holders. We are travelling as a family and unable to get this information elsewhere. Thanks in advance
Hi there. I unfortunately cannot confirm whether you are able to get a visa on arrival either. It seems like it is an option now, though I am distrusting of what I read on the internet, and even if it is an option now, the visa on arrival is not guaranteed and is subject to the discretion of the immigration officer. If you want to play it safe, I would look into applying for the e-visa. I made a video about that as well, I'll leave the link here. I'm sorry I couldn't give you any definitive answer. ua-cam.com/video/YcToNIYc_dk/v-deo.html

Hello, your video is very helpful. I am going to Cario this year. You said the only document to get the visa is a passport. I want to make sure I don’t need to show the return airport ticket. Is it right? I booked the airplane tickets. But I forgot to add my middle name. If they don’t require the return airline ticket, so I don’t have to worry about the name difference from the passport. Is it right? Thanks!
I am by no means an expert on this stuff, I have just researched a bit, I've been living here a few years and know about the process as an individual entering the country, so I've made a few videos giving some basic info to people that do not know anything about it. But I do not want to answer your question with any great certainty. I do not work for the airlines or the embassy, so I can't give you any solid information on that. I also did not say the only document you are able to use to obtain the visa is a passport. In fact, I literally say in the video that some European citizens are able to enter with their national ID card. I am a US citizen and entered Egypt with no return ticket, and I had no problems, that is fine. But about your middle name and tickets and passport differences? I will not speak on that, I haven't a clue. Contact an embassy or your airline, or both, about that. Or you can try to research it on your own. While UA-cam videos can be helpful, I would personally never trust a stranger person on the internet who makes videos to give me an answer to such an important question. These types of questions should be asked to a trusted official (like an embassy or the airlines).
Thank you for your videos. I’m a US citizen but will be coming from Saudi in August. Any recommendations on where to exchange currency without being ripped off? 😂
Where to exchange money and not be ripped off...? Well, anywhere, really. Airports don't always have the best exchange rates or they at least tend to have higher fees, so I recommend doing it within the city at an exchange office or at any bank. The exchange rate is what it is, as long as you are exchanging it through an official source, you will receive what you should.
Hello, Thank you for the information regarding visas. Question please, If i am travelling to Luxor after a few days in Cairo, via plane, will the visa on arrival (30 days) be suitable to travel to Luxor and back also? I am departing from Cairo again after a few days in Luxor. Thank you.
I am interested in visiting Egypt next year and i read in many visa articles that you can get visa on arrival if you have a valid and used US visa. I know somebody who was granted with VoA in cairo airport last September and I am not sure if this is still the case. Also in you article you link it says "Some nationalities need a valid visa issued by countries in the Schengen Area, the US, the UK, Japan, or New Zealand to get a visa on arrival in Egypt." Do you have any information about this. ? I am a Philippine passport holder with a valid and used US visa.
I unfortunately don't know too much about this, but I did just speak to a citizen of one of the gulf countries who has a used US visa, and he was able to get a visa on arrival for Egypt with it, so I think it should work....but I cannot guarantee, I am sorry to say.
Hey there! I know that Canadians are restricted from VoA at the moment for some political reasons…do you know of any VoA issues for US citizens? Seeing mixed sources online but many sites look unreliable.
Yes it's totally possible to get a Visa on Arrival for US citizens. Private companies are trying to make a buck out of Americans scamming them and saying we can't get a VoA (because of the political spat between Canada and Egypt some are inclined to believe this), but as US citizens we can still get the Visa on Arrival. However, if you are looking for a multiple entry visa, then you should apply for the e-visa, as that is the only choice for multiple entry. I also made a video about the E-visa in case you're thinking about that. E-visa video: ua-cam.com/video/YcToNIYc_dk/v-deo.html

@@Gventures ohh I see. It means that you have no idea that Filipinos who are UAE Residents are eligible for Visa on Arrival in Egypt. I know someone who did it 😊

@@Gventures I've been watching your videos and you seem informative. I just thought you knew about it 😅 For your information, I just went here to the Egypt Consulate in Dubai and the staff responsible for visa application said that they changed their rules recently and they are allowing Visa on Arrival in Egypt for UAE Residents (regardless of nationality) as long as the visa and passport is valid and won't expire within 6 months. At first I thought it's not true. Only to find out that one of my fellow Filipino recently went there and did the same 😊
@@marcusdimaranan9364 Oh yeah, if I went to an actual consulate and they told me that, I would 100% trust them over someone on the internet! Aside from your passport and paying the $25 USD fee, I have never been asked for anything else. I was never asked or needed to provide proof of an onward ticket. Maybe it depends on your nationality, but I never needed anything else.

I don't know what you are talking about. This video is about visa on arrival, not an e-visa, so there are no websites to buy it on anyway, you get it at the airport.
Hi, I've been watching your videos about Egypt to know more about one of my bucket list to visit. I just want to ask if foreign national who has active and used USA tourist visa, is it entitled for Visa On Arrival?
I can't 100% confirm that, but I have heard that others have done that. I would recommend getting on some Facebook travel groups and asking that question, you might find some others in the group who have done this. Sorry I can't give you more info on that. But thank you for watching! 🙏
@@jo1samson805 No it's not necessary, as far as I am aware. I've never been asked for it when entering Egypt. However, if you are looking for some type of travel insurance, the two that I am most familiar with are: World Nomads Insurance, and the other is Safety Wings. I usually travel with Safety Wings, because it is cheap 😆
I've never had to pay departure tax. It's perhaps just included in the airline ticket, because I've been in and out of Egypt a few times and never had to pay that
EXCEPT there's also a multiple entry one that's valid for 6mo.. and no one, including Egypt officials, have been able to tell me how long per stay you're allowed to be in the country. lol
EXCEPT that the multiple entry visa is not a visa on arrival, it's an e-visa honey (which I talk about in a separate video I made), and that "6 month" e-visa just means that it's VALID for 6 months from the start date, but you are still not allowed to stay within the country more than 30 consecutive days with that visa. And no Egyptian official can tell you how much time you are allowed inside the country per stay because if you are extending your visa at the immigration office (which is a completely separate matter from the topics mentioned above), it will depend entirely on the immigration officer, your nationality, purpose of stay, etc. Too many factors for an immigration officer to give you a straight or solid answer. There's also a 14 day grace period for anyone entering the country, regardless of what kind of visa they have entered with (that policy has existed since COVID). I live here, so if you're confused about anything else, let me know 😉
@@Gventures I'm getting so much conflicting info from everywhere. The evisa website says that with a multiple entry visa you stay for only 30 consecutive days, but when I emailed the Egyptian embassy to ask, they said I get 90 days per stay. These are both supposedly official sources but they're not even in agreement with each other. One thing every website and source I checked does agree on is that you CAN get multiple entry on arrival (the 180 day validity one). I tried doing it on the website and the website does not function (common complaint), it does very illogical things and it's often impossible to get a visa done through it. I'm traveling soon and I need a multiple entry one.
@@alisa5779 I can assure you the multiple entry visa does not allow you 90 consecutive days within the country. Any multiple entry visa you get will only allow you 30 consecutive days inside the country, then you are supposed to exit the country and re-enter. This is a good option for people that are maybe visiting Jordan after Egypt and then returning to Egypt after. If someone emailed you telling you it is good for 90 days per stay, they meant it is valid for 90 days, but not that you are able to stay 90 consecutive days. Perhaps there was some language barrier or miscommunication, it is quite common here. I researched this before I came to Egypt 2.5 years ago trying to find a 3 month visa where I wasn't required to leave the country at all, and there is no option for it. Any multiple entry visa you get will not be available on arrival, you can search that on the internet and find this response: "The multiple entry visa is issued as an eVisa or electronic visa. The Egyptian authorities do not issue multiple entry visas as visas on arrival, so visitors must have them before traveling." Apr 4, 2023 I have entered Egypt many times, always with a visa on arrival, and there is only one option - 30 days. They do not offer you anything else. Although now there is the 5 year visa, which costs $700 USD and allows you 90 consecutive days within the country at a time. Also, yes the e-visa government website sucks 🤣But there are many online companies where you can get it from if you are having issues with the official Egyptian website. You can also extend your visa once in the country (there are immigration offices in Sharm, Hurghada, Cairo, etc.), a pain in the ass but it's an option. Or you can overstay and pay a fine on the way out 🤣I know quite a few people who have done this, one guy overstayed by 6 months and paid a fine of around $100 I think it was, although maybe that fine is more now. He has come back since then with no issues, so he wasn't banned or anything, they just made him pay money at the airport when he was leaving. I don't like that though, and there is a risk you might have problems at checkpoints or hostels/hotels when checking in. One last thing, be aware that if you are getting a local SIM card, that SIM card will only work for as long as your visa is valid. Once your visa expires, your SIM card will stop working. That truly is a pain in the ass. Bring your passport anytime you are getting a SIM card or renewing your SIM.
Good evening, My children and I live in Germany, and we want to spend two weeks of summer vacation in Egypt. We all carry the (Blauer Pass Reiseausweis), which is valid for more than 6 months. I would like to inquire from you about the Egyptian security approval, how to obtain it, and do we really need it, or are we entitled to obtain the visa at the airport? Thank you very much
I'm sorry, but I actually have no idea. I don't work at an embassy or an airport, and don't know what the Blauer Pass Reiseausweis is, I've never even heard of it. Wish I could be of more help. Best of luck 🙏
I have a 17-hour layover in Cairo. Am traveling to Toronto and have Canadian Pssport. Do I require a transit visa for the layover, and can I leave the airport during that time ? Or do I have to get the visa from the embassy? Plzz reply its very urgent 🙏🙏
Uh oh, I think you need to research this more! I am not sure if you need a transit visa or not, I think that depends on the airline, and if you need to exit the airport to get to a different terminal or not. I heard if it was 6 hours or more you need a transit visa, but I can't confirm that. Pretty sure you won't be able to leave the airport without a transit visa, and Canadians currently need to apply for a visa at an embassy, you aren't able to get a visa on arrival or an e-visa like you used to be able to.
Uh...Pretty sure there isn't a special visa for that, you would just come to Egypt on a tourist visa, then get married here and apply for a different type of visa once you're married.
Hello, very informative! Would you know if one can still avail of visa on arrival using a (used and valid) USA visit visa? I'm entering from Sohag international airport (from UAE). Thanks!
No I don't, sorry! That starts to get complicated when you bring up a visa for one nationality under a different nationality. If you google it though I am sure with enough research you will find your answer
@Gventures hello, I just came back from Egypt. As of this writing one can avail of visa on arrival (25usd) if the person is a GCC resident or if you have a used US visa (I assume UK and Schengen visas will work as well, as they advertised). Thought your viewers might be interested to know. More power!
@@sidgt16 Thanks for that comment and letting me and others know, I appreciate that! So it's 12/2023, and you were able to get a visa to Egypt because you had a used US visa, thanks! And GCC residents would also be able to do that. Thanks for the info 👍🤜🤛
Yes. Just remember you are only allowed to be in the country for 3 months at a time with that visa, then you are required to leave. You can leave come back in again, but if you want to stay more than 90 days consecutively, that visa doesn't allow it, you should instead extend while in the country for longer periods of time.
No, you don't need that here. There is no risk of yellow fever in Egypt. However, travelers 9 months and older arriving from countries WITH risk for yellow fever must provide proof of vaccination. So if you're from a country infected with yellow fever, then you'll need to provide proof of vaccination. Otherwise, you're fine and you don't need it.
It sounds like you are planning to live in Egypt. If so, you should apply for residency. But I don't work for the embassy and I'm not an immigration officer, so I don't really know the answer to your question. Good luck
When getting a visa on arrival, does return flights matter? Obviously i want to stay longer than 30 days so if my return flight is proven as longer than 30 days from arrival they wont give me the visa? So i should book return within 30 days then change booking after extending my visa to 3, 6 or 9 months? Or it doesnt matter at all?
It could depend on where you are from...? But I don't think it does. I dunno, I'm American and came to Egypt with a one way ticket and nobody said or asked for anything.
@@IE-ck2hf I'm not sure for Australians. I honestly don't think they are going to check that though, I have never heard of anyone getting checked for a return flight. You could always just get something from bestonwardticket. Look it up it's useful for countries that require an onward flight. But I don't think you'll have any issues in Egypt whether you have proof of a flight out or not
I’m going in December but I’m afraid to go with everything that is going on. Are you able to make a video on how it’s affecting Egypt if it is at affecting it at all? I might sound naive but it’s always scary to travel to the other side of the world and with Egypt being so close to Israel. I know Egypt is not involved but im just feeling eery. Thanks again!
I have never used GBP here so I have no idea. But I generally recommend anyone, regardless of who they are or where they are coming from, to exchange their money into the local currency. It's just the normal thing people must do when traveling around the world, use the local currency. It's also the wisest thing to do so that you know you are paying the accurate amount, you don't want to be arguing about the current exchange rates with everyone. Nobody can refuse you with EGP; all taxis, street vendors, restaurants, etc. must and will accept EGP. The same cannot be said about GBP. Yes, there are people who may want it or like it (at least for USD, I get asked every so often if I have a dollar - usually I am just being asked to give them a dollar though 😅, not pay for something in dollars), but not everyone will accept it and in my opinion it's just better to use EGP. If you want maybe just exchange some GBP to EGP, then go around trying to pay in GBP (with EGP as backup if they say no), and if it's not an issue for anyone, you can start using GBP. But you will probably be paying more for things than you should be paying with that approach.
@@Gventures yeah I will use EGP I just didn't know if it was handy carrying some pounds sterling just incase , a guy I know said to me that when he visited the people seemed to like english currency is good for the economy or maybe It was just mumble jumble pub talk😂. How do I find out about any live music that may be going on in cairo when I'm there?
@@Octopussydelica No it wasn't just mumbo jumbo 😂People do like foreign currency here, but who actually wants it can be quite random. Exchange some and keep a bit if you'd like, so that if someone asks for a bill you can donate it to them, or keep it for someone that may prefer to get paid with that. The economic crisis had EVERYONE wanting dollars at one point (black market exchange rate was around 70 at one point) and in general foreign currency is more stable, but things have leveled out a bit and I am not hearing people ask for it as much as they have in the past. I just prefer to pay in EGP because it is precisely accurate to what you should be paying and won't be refused, but yes, some people like foreign currency (in tourist areas or for tipping, maybe). Live music isn't a big thing here, sadly. Cairo Jazz Club is about the only place I can recommend, or the opera house 😅 I am sure there are more places that have live music but they are far and few in between, with no guarantees on when they are playing
@@abrut6564 Every time I have done it it only took a few minutes. Obviously that can change depending on the time you arrive and the amount of people there

Ah, that sucks man. You gotta be careful where you are purchasing your visa! There are lots of different sites from private companies and some of those businesses are a total sham. You should buy if from the official Egyptian government website, but I've heard that has issues with processing, the page just keeps loading or something. I dunno, I always get visa on arrival. Thanks for commenting warning people though, and sorry to hear you got ripped.

Hi did you find any problems to get visa on arrival at Cairo > and whats your nationality i mean passport Eu >

Thank You So Much For This Information
hi what are the needed requirement to present for visa on arrival ( saudi iqama holder)
do i need to present evisa? thanks
how to get visa from atlys?

Magnifique 😍
Thanks G!
Also, is it legal for people too stay with their significant other at hotels if they arent married?
You may need to aquire a fake marriage certificate
Yes, as long as neither of them are Arab nationals. If one of them is an Arab national (countries like Jordan or Saudi Arabia-and of course Egypt-, as examples) and the other is a non-Arab national (France, US, etc.) and they are not married (with documents to prove it), they will not be able to get a hotel room together. If two Arab nationals are not married, they will also not be able to get a hotel room together. Egypt's laws.
Gcc resident also get visa on arrival..
I think so, but better to look that up on your government website to be sure
I have a phone call with egyptairways they are confirming that visa arrival for gcc residents

amazing video, i plan to spend some time in egypt soon like roughly 6 months and i’m having such a hard time finding housing.
This was very helpful. If I have 2 $20 notes will they give back the change for that or should I get exact $25

As long as your nationality is eligible for a visa on arrival and the airline doesn't have any requirements to have a visa before you can get on a flight (which they shouldn't, especially if you're eligible for a visa on arrival), you'll be fine 😎

Thank you for so much information. Can I use my us bank in Egypt for a year long?
Yes you can use your US bank. But you might be paying a lot of fees to withdraw money from your US account, so I hope you have a good bank that doesn't charge you a lot for international transactions! And not all ATM's may accept your card, so you might have to try several different ATM's sometimes.
your video is so informative. Thank you ♥️. can Non Eu citizens, with a permanent residency in a schengen country get VOA?
Honestly, I am not sure about that, sorry.
Yes yes, UK citizens can get the visa on arrival, and once you get the visa on arrival, it covers everywhere within Egypt! 😎
@@Gventures Thank you so much for your quick response! I was really worried and the Egyptian embassy in my country is difficult to contact.
@@Yelena_05 Haha, yeah embassies are a real pain in the ass. But as long as your nationality is eligible for visa on arrival, you won't have a problem getting it when you arrive. They have to be open and available for people arriving at all hours, since visa on arrival is available for many nationalities.
Do you get this 5y / 700$ also on arrival meaning just pay the amount in cash at the bank kiosk similar to the 25$ one?
Yes as far as I am aware. I didn't buy it though as I stay in Egypt longer than 3 months at a time. But I do believe you pay in cash and that is that.
Any idea about residents of the UK that only have residency Ids (BRP) and Yemeni passports?
I'm only asking here due to the 3 weeks non-responsive Egyptian consulate in London!

Thank you very much for your reply and the suggestions! 😊
@@Gventures thank you!

Any multiple entry visa you get will not be available on arrival, you can search that on the internet and find this response:
"The multiple entry visa is issued as an eVisa or electronic visa. The Egyptian authorities do not issue multiple entry visas as visas on arrival, so visitors must have them before traveling." Apr 4, 2023
I have entered Egypt many times, always with a visa on arrival, and there is only one option - 30 days.
Good evening,
My children and I live in Germany, and we want to spend two weeks of summer vacation in Egypt.
@@Gventures Thank you for your answer

Do you know what kind of visa do you need if you are going to Egypt to get married?
Hi i love u videos .can i get 5 years tourist visa from bank kiosk as 30 days one?
@@mohammedmoussa2458 Yes that is what I have read
Filipinos 🇵🇭 can enter Egypt
Yes but you need to apply for a visa in advance, you aren't able to get a visa on arrival
April 2024. Can Australian passport holders obtain a visa on arrival at Cairo airport. Is it US25 ? Shokron gazeelan😊
Yep that's exactly right 👍 Afu 😄
What about 5 years multiple visa fee , shall i buy it from the bank of Egypt
Yes. Just remember you are only allowed to be in the country for 3 months at a time with that visa, then you are required to leave. You can leave come back in again, but if you want to stay more than 90 days consecutively, that visa doesn't allow it, you should instead extend while in the country for longer periods of time.
Hi I have an Indian nationality passport with Deutschland Visa, am I eligible for Egypt visa on arrival ??
I actually don't know, sorry! I only know about nationalities, not with different visas and such
Is the yellow fever vaccine required?
Lovely, thank you
No, you don't need that here.
@@Gventures thank you so much 🙌🏻
@@gleidsonsouza7803 No worries 😎
Are student visas for grade school children required for U.S. homeschooling online? Or can the child just stay on a tourist visa?
It sounds like you are planning to live in Egypt. If so, you should apply for residency. But I don't work for the embassy and I'm not an immigration officer, so I don't really know the answer to your question. Good luck
@@Gventures we have tourists residency now... I didn't know if that's all we needed. But thank you for the help... I will keep looking into it
When getting a visa on arrival, does return flights matter?
Obviously i want to stay longer than 30 days so if my return flight is proven as longer than 30 days from arrival they wont give me the visa?
So i should book return within 30 days then change booking after extending my visa to 3, 6 or 9 months?
Or it doesnt matter at all?
It could depend on where you are from...? But I don't think it does. I dunno, I'm American and came to Egypt with a one way ticket and nobody said or asked for anything.
for Australia?@@Gventures
@@IE-ck2hf I'm not sure for Australians. I honestly don't think they are going to check that though, I have never heard of anyone getting checked for a return flight. You could always just get something from bestonwardticket. Look it up it's useful for countries that require an onward flight. But I don't think you'll have any issues in Egypt whether you have proof of a flight out or not
Do you need return ticket for visa on arrival
I did not, but I would double check your nationality to make sure, as different nationalities have different requirements.
I'm actually already working on a video about that, upload is Sunday!
Fabulous!!!

Hey Im coming to egypt in september, in general do they accept english money I'm coming from england. Someone told me they like it. Thankyou
Thank you Gisselle appreciate the reply, really looking forward to coming wish it could come sooner:)

Yes. I arrived at 11pm and got my visa 👍

@@abrut6564 Every time I have done it it only took a few minutes. Obviously that can change depending on the time you arrive and the amount of people there

Why are you asking this, just don't do it. You haven't entered the country or been approved yet, the immigration officer is going to ask you questions and look at your passport and then they will put it in
I m holder German Pass, i could get visa on arrival also?

Ah, that sucks man. You gotta be careful where you are purchasing your visa! There are lots of different sites from private companies and some of those businesses are a total sham. You should buy if from the official Egyptian government website, but I've heard that has issues with processing, the page just keeps loading or something. I dunno, I always get visa on arrival.
