First generation box unopened sells for 65k so yea, they can be as valuable as ball cards. Stick them in a binder somewhere safe and forget about them for some years.

The multi reverse holo packs.. reminds me of when I was a kid I was in a store that sold Pokemon starter decks. He bought the water trainer deck that came with a Lapras. He opened it and the entire deck was holographic Lapras. I'd never seen anything like that before.
