I watched the entire game, not a bears or Seahawks fan. Without a doubt Brown and Williams threw that game in purpose. Seattles stupid defense was begging them to be beaten and all the bears had to do was run either a scream or a quick hitter over The middle and they are in fg range. Those last 4 throws Williams threw had 0 chance of being completed. Williams was surprised that the previous 4th down throw was caught for a 1st. It just feels like the game is going way too fast for these guys. Like they don't have the processing power to manage the clock as well as calling plays at the same time.
Throwing deep passes could be indicative of trying to draw for pass interference penalties to get free yards in which the coaches will never admit out loud. I hate that thought of drawing penalties is considered a valid strategy but can't argue against it if it's there to exploit.
Yeah, I don't blame Brown very much. A couple months ago he was an assistant to the OC and now he's HC. He wasn't ready for this and it was just thrust in his face on short notice. Maybe in a few years he'll be ready, but judging him on a few games towards the end of the season is a bit unfair. When Brown was the OC, Williams had some of his best numbers as a pro.
I woke up after a few hours nap and I looked at my phone and I see it’s 6-3 and I had to look twice to make sure I didn’t miss any 1s or 2s in front. I actually watched that last 3 minutes cause I knew something was coming for me to laugh at the bears.

Caleb is looking right at him. Again, Caleb is constantly looking for the big gain play. The plays that followed make it very clear they did not want to win this game.

Thomas Brown is gonna be getting a hefty Xmas bonus for falling on the sword to improve their Draft position. Oh right... We like to pretend that's not real... Players are always gonna try their hardest to win, Management on the other hand, yeah, good joke.
I feel bad for Thomas Brown. He was a position coach, then thrust into interim OC then a week later thrust into interim HC. Dude is obviously not qualified to be in the position he's in but its not his fault. Its the inept organization and ownership that decided a position coach would be able to run a team.
I didn't get it, either. When they got to the 40, I was thinking, just work underneath, get another 10 yards or so and then Santos ties the game up. You have to get inside his range and then you can try to take a shot to win if you want, although as lousy as the Bears' OL was, I don't know that I would risk the sack. That play-calling was atrocious. If Brown DID think the QB run was there, then do it.
Not from that distance even in a dome on artificial turf. I'm not sure he would've made a 50-yard FG in the conditions his team had to endure during the game discussed here.
In all fairness, the weather was really bad so maybe the Bears thought converting a field goal wasn't a possibility. A lot of things can go wrong on a field goal attempt, and with the weather the way it was that just adds to the list of things that go wrong, or cause something to go wrong. I'm just saying.
I thought the Bears' timeout management was gonna be talked about here. With that said, you're going in on the wrong person. The people you should really be going in on are those in the Bears' football ops and maybe even Virginia Halas McCaskey. This is their failure, not Brown's.
I've been watching the bears since the early 70's. This is embarrassing. They need to clean house from top to bottom. The only thing to look forward to is the end of the season. And that couldn't come soon enough.
Lakers fans know what you mean last month at Atlanta LeBron pulled that stunt only needed a basket to forced 2nd OT but with 6 seconds left he decide to be like Patrick Mahone and throw a hail mary

They need to address the offensive line. I get they took an offensive tackle in the 3rd round (Kiran out of Yale) If the draft was done over that 9th pick (Odunze) should've been traded down
Don't just blame it on Brown. Caleb should be the one to blame. He's the QB. He's supposed to run this 2-minute offense. So why did he throw 4 deep passes? just because that's the plays called from the sidelines? Gimme a break! Why didn't he scrap the coach's play and just throw a short pass to get closer for the FG? Does he have any clue what a high % pass is? Is he afraid of getting bench if he doesn't follow the plays call from the sidelines? I am sick and tired of shifting all the blames to the coaching staffs simply because he's a rookie. Caleb is a #1 pick, but he obviously has no clue how to run a 2-minute offense. The evidence in the Lions game was loud and clear (able to run only 1 play in 32 seconds with a timeout in the pocket). He exposed his ineptitude in this Seahawks game once again. He doesn't have the mental capacity to be an NFL QB at all. Even Drake Maye and Spencer Rattler have the common sense of running a 2-minute offense.

Not that Ii am hollding my breath. :/
I noticed Caleb ALWAYS goes for the furthest option in college. It evidently translates
Forget the Bears. Im just disgusted with the Seahawks ineptitude in offense. Wow that was a stinker of a game.
On the next episode of The Greatest Game
Only team using a prevent offense in the two minute drill with such success!!
I woke up after a few hours nap and I looked at my phone and I see it’s 6-3 and I had to look twice to make sure I didn’t miss any 1s or 2s in front. I actually watched that last 3 minutes cause I knew something was coming for me to laugh at the bears.
Im just glad it wasnt the Jets because that game was AWFUL
Bears? A mess? Get out!
As a Bears fan let me say Da Bears are Horrible, Really Horrible!!!
The Bears and Texans combined didn't beat the Seahawks😂😂😂
This was the TNF season finale we truly deserved
On the contrary, this is the Thursday night finale Jeff “the Bozo” Bezos deserved after all the money he doubtless lost from the people who must have turned off the stream and perhaps even cancelled their subscriptions! Ignominy begets ignominy.
•1st &10, with 0:38 to go. Instead of going for a short pass play for about 5 yards, they are looking for over ten yards and at the same time chewing up more time.
• Kmet broke and was open at the 30 on that 1st & 10. Caleb is looking right at him. Again, Caleb is constantly looking for the big gain play.
The plays that followed make it very clear they did not want to win this game.
A football game that ended 6-3? What is this, old Big 10 football?
Hey, don’t knock good, old-fashioned Big Ten smash mouth football. I honestly wish we could go back to “three yards and a cloud of dust”, where the game is played in the trenches instead of in the periphery. Give me that over the Rebel ball forced on us by the SEC any day!
I was expecting this to be a double DD because of the horrible timeout management from both the Bears and in Seahawks in those final minutes.
They targeted riq woolen every time too
Which works if you have jjetas (or equivalent) to go with it, here not quite
Is Lovie available?
What’s the background music? It has been bothering me for months lol
Bothering me in a good way, not that it needs to change
The Bears has been on Dumb Decisions more than NFL team this season.
Caleb doesn't want to ruin his nail polish
Good lord that was not smart
Thomas Brown is gonna be getting a hefty Xmas bonus for falling on the sword to improve their Draft position.
Oh right... We like to pretend that's not real... Players are always gonna try their hardest to win, Management on the other hand, yeah, good joke.
I feel bad for Thomas Brown. He was a position coach, then thrust into interim OC then a week later thrust into interim HC. Dude is obviously not qualified to be in the position he's in but its not his fault. Its the inept organization and ownership that decided a position coach would be able to run a team.
Caleb could have run during those last drive but play call was bad high-school coaching
Ever since Washington's Hail Mary win, the Bears haven't been the same.
That last series wasn't the OFFENSIVE LINE FAULT.
NEXT CALEB EXCUSE PLEASE
This isn't a fair dumb decision because the bears are clearly in full tank mode right now.
Da Bears are Da Losers AGAIN!!
HE REALLY THREW THE PLAYERS UNDER THE BUS EXACTLY LIKE EBERFLUS DID!!!!!!
I'm tired of all the ransoming of these often crappy games. Imagine paying Netflix/Amazon for the "privilege" of watching this crap.
Santos could’ve made it that far to tie the game, but noooooooo… the Bears are ass.
Not from that distance even in a dome on artificial turf. I'm not sure he would've made a 50-yard FG in the conditions his team had to endure during the game discussed here.
@@marcus813 And guy who had a FG blocked against the Packers has Big Cat (blocked XP) and J-Love (blocked FG) to contend with
In all fairness, the weather was really bad so maybe the Bears thought converting a field goal wasn't a possibility. A lot of things can go wrong on a field goal attempt, and with the weather the way it was that just adds to the list of things that go wrong, or cause something to go wrong. I'm just saying.
look on his face: I dont have any confidence that we can
I thought the Bears' timeout management was gonna be talked about here. With that said, you're going in on the wrong person. The people you should really be going in on are those in the Bears' football ops and maybe even Virginia Halas McCaskey. This is their failure, not Brown's.
When the Bears blew that 4th and inches and got themselves penalized I knew Chicago were going to lose
Well the Bears head coach did coach the Bears to what should be a high draft pick in '25.....right?
I've been watching the bears since the early 70's. This is embarrassing. They need to clean house from top to bottom. The only thing to look forward to is the end of the season. And that couldn't come soon enough.
Lakers fans know what you mean last month at Atlanta LeBron pulled that stunt only needed a basket to forced 2nd OT but with 6 seconds left he decide to be like Patrick Mahone and throw a hail mary
Can't wait for UrinatingTree to upload The Greatest Game on this crapshoot of a game. I feel like everyone that watched this game should be given a free year of Prime.
They need to address the offensive line. I get they took an offensive tackle in the 3rd round (Kiran out of Yale)
If the draft was done over that 9th pick (Odunze) should've been traded down
We football fans deserve better. Roger Goodell please get rid of Thursday Night Football.
Yup. We knew this video was coming
Chicago deserve bears, Brandon Johnson, and NoNeck governor
Brown went from being oc for the awful Panthers in 2023. Bears reward him by making him Caleb qb coach. Then they make him oc and hc
Time to fire the whole Bears team.
The dumbest decision was made by whoever bought a ticket for that shit show
Da Bears are the height of comedy. I think i had more fun watching the bears score 3 points than i did watchjng my Packers win by 34
Hey, Lambeau pretty much called everything three nights before it happened😁
Not too many times NFL Network can say 6-3, but the game wasn’t nearly as exciting as the score indicates.
The longest play of the game? Kenny McIntosh busting it for 25...........................
On the *first* series😆
He's an Eberflus hire.
