    **Excellent!** I'm a big fan of Bigelow Aerospace and their modules!
    They offer a **huge** amount of space in a super-robust package! Maximum space-for-the-buck as it were! I really hope that their modules form part of the Lunar Gateway and maybe an actual lunar base too! Lots of space, robust, fast to set up, relatively inexpensive!

      So the video is probably shot with a go-pro (see 1:48) which notoriously has a extremely wide angle lens so the scale of the person at the far end of the module is slightly misleading (but not maliciously). Don't get me wrong, the Bigelow modules are the largest modules by volume; it is far more interior space than anything we've ever put in space.

      I think the "does not exist" meant that particular supports would not be there if the structure was in space. Dang that's big enough to spin and generate a little gravity!

    • @bkreativepainting7461
      @bkreativepainting7461 4 роки тому +2

      Not really... If you consider it that to achieve 1g earth gravity you need a ring 1km wide spinning at about 4rpm...
      For mars gravity at 1/3 of earth you need a ring about 700mtres wide...
      for lunar gravity you need a ring 400mtres wide...
      Below that gravity becomes somewhat negligible in how it scales. At the size of this below 100 mtres long and only about 15mtres wide.. any centripedal force you generate would be useless. Except for incredibly basic gravity experiments

    • @bkreativepainting7461
      @bkreativepainting7461 3 роки тому

      @Steve Acho thanks, I should have excerpted though, if you want to bypass the size of ring to scaled gravity for different planets G, it’s very possible to a certain degree, but it involves increasing the spin rate dramatically which induces horrific Coriolis effects inside the ring,
      it’s not a pleasant feeling, you feel gravity but how it scales isn’t directly related to the size of the size of the ring anymore but by your own mass interacting with the induced gravity imagine letting go of an object inside, and as it falls it doesn’t just fall down but the ring spins faster than the fall rate so the object seems to slide in the air too away from the direction of spin,
      So spinning even marginally large objects like this is still kinda out
