Please for your sake, check the ultimine key. It's shapeless ultimine would've gave you enough obsidian for 5 bases if you were using it. It's a huge time saver and it makes your mining(obsidian/ores) way easier and acessible. Allowing you to focus on better things. Edit: 20:17 it's simple just go to the keybinds. Maybe try the [ ' ], [/] or the [~] key.

You can reuse the obsidian from the staircase for the roof, you aren't using it anymore.
