It’s haunting the dwindling amount of common sense of the average person to cheer for vaccines after new evidence, cheer for checks from the government while it hurts the poor man’s wallet the most, and cry for equal justice while they support discrimination. It’s haunting enough where we have videos of veterans crying for the country they fought blood and tears for turning to the thing they fought against.
It fits them perfectly. Obscene wealth, privilege, and power in a complete moral vacuum.
The Murdoch family were the key inspiration for succession, particularly with Logan Roy aka Rupert Murdoch. By comparison, the Trump family are relatively tame.

I always figured Trump's family was the inspiration for the show, so I'm not surprised it works. Obviously, I think Logan Roy is based more off media moguls Rupert Murdoch or Roger Ailes, but on the family aspect I think the kids and family dynamic are meant to be a reflection of the Trumps.
This is legitamtely one of the best video edits I've ever seen on YT... It's just perfect. The time and skill it must have taken to put this together is insane.
