In this video , I have explained how to fill up the form imm 5708 to extend your stay as a visitor in Canada from work permit. This form you fill up when you are already in Canada and want to extend your stay as a visitor from work permit holder.

Hi Rahul, I and my husband together are applying to the TRV after getting my Post graduate Work permit and my husband's open work permit for 3 years. This particular form is only available under the information of my husband's section required by IRCC. My issue is, for the third question of this form should the answer be " Extend my status as a visitor" or a different answer? because currently he is on his open work permit and when we ticked to extend my status as a visitor, will the visa be stamped under the category as a visitor on his passport or as a worker? because his first visa was stamped under the "worker" category. just want to verify this with you, please help. thank you in advance.
On employment part if its on going employment for last 10 years how do we do that there is no ongoing

My permanent residency application is in process, I applied under PNP by paper. I have restriction on PNP that I can only work for my current employer, where I am currently working because it is essential services. I currently have an open work permit, which expires in almost a month and half. I also have letter of support that states I can extend my work permit. I cannot apply for bridge work permit because there is a restriction on PNP.
I submitted the application to extend my work permit in March and two days ago when I called CIC, they told me the application is not right. My employer has to create portal online first , give me the code and then I can extend my work permit! My employer will not do this for me. Is there any other way to extend my work permit?

Hello brother, really appreciate your help. I'm in a situation where my bank accounts in canada got expired recently and im in canada as of now. My wprk permit is going to expire on jan 19 2024. I want to apply for visitor and i don't have any bank accounts in canada to proove my funds. Can i show my indian bank statement as proof or any other means.. please help

If you have filed for your work permit extension before your work permit expires you are allowed to work under the same conditions while a decision is out. Who told you to fill this up

Hi Rahul, I am filling out form for my parents visitor visa extension and I have two questions until now:
1) My mom has eTA, will I need to fill and follow the same process?
2) In form imm5708 "Coming to Canada" section there are two questions 1) Date and place of your original entry to Canada 3) Date and place of most recent entry to Canada (if not the same as original entry) - what is the meaning of this I do not understand. Can you please explain?

Hi brother when asked for proof of financial means, what documents needs to be attached. Also in the details of Visit to Canada can I mention my friends name as he happens to be my roommate.
Anything that proves your readily available funds like bank statements GIC etc
Are you applying for extension or change of status ?
