Very cool! I would have designed the drive chains differently. I would have gone with 1 long chain and had the vertical adjustment of the hydraulic motor be the tensioning. But still really cool and can’t wait to see the rest of the build.
The early aussie dingo 950p had the hydraulic motors driving one pair of wheels thru a hub, with a sprocket on that hub and a chain drive to the front wheels. I'm a little surprised the builder hasn't done similar.
This is not a good design. The chains to the wheels need to run in grease, and the gear pump drives need thave sealed bearings, otherwise they will get dirt in them and shorten their lifespan. The wheels are mounted backwards, so the lug nuts cannot tighten the wheels in original orientation, keeping them from the proper torque, and also how does one check the air pressure in them?
I’m watching this to support all your content man. We need to recognize art isn’t just one project.

Ikr! I binged all the Quanta vids about a month ago and it was amazing. We're not gonna have to wait 54 years are we?

Горячо, как ключи 👍
Its important to sand or grind away paint before welding as it makes for better weld penetration.
Not for stick, welds right through.
I love these videos so much
Subscribed, do you have a list of hydrolic parts used?

Love this
Parts list? Please
You just need to wrap a set of tracks around the wheels. Boy your wheel base is too short.
Is good
Why reinventing the Bobcat? Just curious?
There's pride on creating your own design.
More better
Looks like part 1 & 2 are the same.

Those wheels won’t be going highway speeds or hauling boulders, I think it’s fine.
It's a work in progress.
QUADRA V TECH PLEASE 🙏
